  1. There's really nothing to argue about. Just roster and walk away. Drop if you want to. Seriously. Keep talking and you will jinx. No need for in depth crap it's clear as day he's here to stay. Enough. I'm tired of listening to small leaguers asking whether or not to drop or roster. Dude if your in a standard 12 or lower why even bother freaking out on players when you have a plethora on the wire. So many whiners in standard and under. So many whiners they're changing formats again.

  2. ^ Yeah I was going to make a very similar argument. His argument would only work if the other teams did nothing to get better. The other teams enhanced their small ball approach and made it even more lethal IN ORDER to compete with the Warriors, they didn't double down on other strategies, they went with 3 + D wings (Houston added Mbah A Moute, PJ Tucker), etc. Timberwolves added more shooting, wing depth in Butler, Crawford and a big who can switch on picks and defend the post in Taj Gibson. We can go on and on here. Additionally, the Warriors are in the business of setting trend

  4. I was like that then I dropped him a month back and he hasn't gone off. 1) the suns ignore him on offense. 2) the guy came into the season like 35 pounds overweight? My co worker is going to a weight loss resort for 3 weeks to lose less than that. Plus I bet he didn't work on his game either. I know some people are hoping of a 2nd half season comeback but I bet his ceiling is the same as last year.

  7. Whats all the bickering about? At least Kidd is giving him minutes. Not turning the ball over (1.0 in Dec) Not shooting enough free throws to make you punt it (61% on 2 attempts per game) 9.3 points and 6.2 boards on 63% shooting in the month of Dec. You can't expect him to grab 10 boards with the players he plays with. Giannis, Bledsoe are great rebounders (or stat padders whatever you wanna call it ) at their position. They like to grab that rebound and initiate a break on offense. #99 past month and yall picked him up from the wire. I get that he's not Tyreke Evans, but you can'

  8. And like Draymond he can also throw bullet passes down the middle when two defenders converge on him as Bell rolls down the middle for dunks.

  9. Tbh Curry coming back would be even better for Bell imo. Considering Bell's game is currently all around the rim, Curry's gravity in dragging defenders out is going to be huge.

  11. 31st pick would be right on the money for Turner. The complaints in here are all coming from people who picked him around ~20. And even that is unwarranted. Per game, he's ranked 32nd this year. If Turner does any better than what he's done up to now (which I still think he will) is just pure gravy for you. Is Turner disappointing this year? Yea sure, considering I was hoping for borderline first round value from him. But that's mostly on me and my hopeful expectations for him. Does that mean he isn't worth a 31st pick or even 20th pick? Heck no.

  13. I don’t mind it one bit. Please, let them roster Jaylen and Wiggins and think they are better.

  15. An expensive one. Davis better get that GB% back closer to 50% or that HR/9 will soar.

  16. The Bucks and Jason Kidd are a joke. Giannis should be a max usage player like Harden or Lebron to best maximize his amazing and unique skill set. They need to play faster and with more purpose. Kidd is stuck in his early 2000s ways of slow Eastern Conference basketball. Its a colossal abomination and shocking to the conscience.

  17. Just needs to get healthy and if he needs to sit out to do that then by all means do it, clearly has not been healthy in the past few games

  18. You disregarding 6 years and judging only by 2 months on a new team is laughable. Seriously laughable.

  19. It's because it's not brown making the decisions. It's the trash colangelo's forcing minutes on guys like Amir cuz he's their guy. That team deserves to lose every game for hiring those pieces of s--- to the front office. I can't be happier that they have nothing to do with my raptors anymore.

  20. The Spurs should be fined for making a joke of the injury report. And no, I'm not a Kawhi owner. I just think it's pretty bush league to repeatedly list someone as probable and then have them not play.

  21. http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/nba/76919/484/bold-predictions-for-2018 so this is the guy who keeps harping on this willy-over-kanter sh!t @ the rotoworld blurbs again, again and again. i do think the knicks will find ways to keep kanter if he does opt out of his contract. he's just perfect for kristaps, the locker room and the organization as a whole. and it's stupid to bench a healthy kanter late in the season just because you're scared he's gonna sign elsewhere during the summer. if the knicks do that, they will probably encourage him to leave. stupid. i sta

  22. Not trying to be an A@$@(!$ but difference is he's in the NBA where he's going to get the best 24-hour treatment possible. These guys get paid millions to play.

  23. This kid's going to be getting 20 minutes every night from here on out. And really that's all he needs. He should have no problem averaging 60.0 FG%, 7.0 PPG, 5.0 REB, 2.5 AST, 1.0 STL, 1.5 BLK in that amount of time.

  24. This was an issue in one of my leagues so I can relate - but while each respective team owner’s opinion on players is subjective, each individual player’s fantasy value is not as there is a metric system that needs to be followed to balance out the league and create a more competitive environment. Just because you know that your best friend’s favorite real life player is Lonzo Ball, doesn’t mean you can just offer Ball and Gary Harris for his Cp3 (during his injured stretch), no matter how keen he is; especially in a competitive league and/or when there is money involved)

  25. I was messing around with Rubio's pass tracking stats, and I found it interesting to look at the frequency of who he passes it to most, and what that player is doing after they receive the pass. This year Rubio has passed it most frequently to Favors (19% of his passes), then Ingles (17%), and Mitchell (13%). All those add up to about 30 passes per game, and they result in only 7 field goal attempts per game by those players. Those were the only players who received over 10% of his passes, and a bunch are in the 6-8% range. For comparison, his pass tracking on the wolves looks wild

  26. I like Hansen... I did some video homework where I'd pause his pitches about half way to home plate, and try to guess if it was fastball or slider It's hard to guess right. There's still a stinky floor here, but he is definitely flashing upside. And the frame (6'6 I believe) combined with the prolific K #'s.. I am in. in fact, I'm in a dynasty rebuild and just flipped Dozier+Snell for Verdugo+Hansen+Kieboom. I think the fate of that trade rests largely on Hansen (or maybe Snell?) Anyhow, hoping for good things from this giant.

  27. On another note... does anyone have any indy beat writer twitter tidbit or such that explains why he got ruled out days in advance when this issue came out of nowhere?

  28. I finally dropped him, a center that has bad fg%, high TO and low rebound #s. paired with the bad free throw and inconsistencies... I've had enough and I doubt anyone in my 10 teamer will add him.

  29. Also, to add with Jrue...even after the surgery he had another issue...same injury. He claims he wasn't at 100% when he came back ( we know that NO medical staff isn't the best), so I'm sure that's why. He ended up missing over 3 months because of it. These injuries aren't anything to mess around with it. Prob good to read up on them, and the history of players recovery/issues, before throwing around accusations of a team and even worse a player just saying screw it, I'm healthy but not gonna play at all the entire year.

  30. This whole argument is beyond ridiculous. Just go on youtube and watch some highlight videos of Rubio's passing. You don't make passes like that unless you are a gifted passer. You are right, gifted passers don't forget how to pass. He just went to a team/system that doesn't really utilize his skillset. I'm not the biggest Rubio fan, he's far from a complete player. But to say he's not a skilled passer is just plain ignorant.

  31. Happily for Elf, the Vuce injury happened. Definite game changer as they had no chance but to hand him the reigns. Obviously I held strong and he is bringing in the goods now. Never said he is a scrub, just that he didn't have the opportunity as it was. I don't think it has anything to do with his health, he has been back for some time now. Just about the opportunity.

  34. If it makes you feel better, I drafted the Greek Freak and Whiteside with my first two picks in one of my league and I'm DEAD LAST in that league in blocks (even though Yahoo's projections during the draft had me as having 50 more blocks than any other team)

  40. why is he still in the game when they are up 30? Gentry probably owns him in fantasy and is going up against the number 1 seed
    1 point
  41. Every owner is different. Their preferences for players are different. You shouldn't bash fantasy owners because their beliefs are different than yours are. Calling the league a joke isn't fair. Considering how strong Niko and Harris have been playing, and how slow Kawhi has been, some owners are looking to win now, they can't afford to wait for Kawhi to get healthy. I can see where they're coming from.

  42. You’re writing off a perennial top 5 guy (on a per game basis, in real life and in fantasy) who has played a whopping 45 minutes of NBA basketball since the 16-17 western conference finals against teams hitting their mid-season stride. It’s been a little over a week of action since his long lay-off but I expect an increase every other week as he gets up to speed. He should start hitting his stride with regular minutes by mid Jan IMO. The instincts and skills (footwork, shot selection) are there but the conditioning and explosion aren’t yet. I’m also itching to
