  1. This thread went from " OMG, first round Whiteside is back" to "cant imagine this jackass being a father" real quick....

  2. Yup, he's waiver wire fodder from here on out.

  3. Pretty disingenuous to include his last two games, one of which he left early due to precaution after banging his knee and the other due to the bad foot injury. Prior to those two games he was ranked 46th on the year per season averages on BBM. Anyone can go look it up using the date range function.

  4. Exactly. In competitive leagues, there are at 2 to 3 people waiting for that diamond in the rough. You need to know what player you would drop right away when a potential fantasy star could be on the rise. I know we all play in different formats. But for the people who say " I will wait for them to string a few games along first." GTFO, that is a weak league then. You need to pounce on an opportunity when it's there. You have take chances.

  6. LOOOVe this kid, so freaking smooth for a 20 yr old PG. Percentages, stocks, and 3s are such a hard combo for a guard to have, and the rebounds and assists will only get better. There will be ups and downs, but post-all star he will be a beast.

  9. I honestly think KAT is a genetic beast and if he changed his mind set and gave it 100, he'd be unstoppable.

  10. I'm not gonna lie. KAT went on IG live last night & I told him to block more shots for fantasy purposes. I know he read it because he read & answered my other question which was in the same bubble with the other message — this guy has now blocked 3 shots early in the 1Q. Hahaha THANK YOU, KAT. <3

  11. If there is one organization that I'm jealous of it's the Cardinals. From top to bottom it is such well run machine, and it has been for years.

  15. What on earth are you talking about? I neither love nor hate the Mets. I'm just a realist and they have absolutely no chance of making the playoffs this coming season. How on earth is that hate? They made a bad trade and they seem to be dipping their toes in the water with a possible worse trade for Realmuto. Their "medical" staff has become the butt of more jokes here and on other baseball sites then anything in recent years. So if anything I have sympathy for their players and fans. This is a fantasy baseball site. Not a fanboy site. Not a home town team site. I love deG

  18. Every system is slightly different; across my main leagues against the Saints, opposing QB's have a 10.56 PPG over his last 3 games, so the number is very close to yours. What's interesting is that 2 of those 3 QB's have had a better number than 10.56. The number is so low because Wentz was completely awful (he had -3.45 points). Dak had 12.63, which granted is not great, but it is 2 points better than the average. And Ryan had 22.49, which is a solid number. Overall, the Saints have allowed 6 of 12 QB's to hit over 20 points (Fitzpatrick, Ryan twice, Flacco, Cousins

  19. Their spending habits is exactly why they stopped winning. They got stuck with too many old players on un tradeable contracts. The current Red Sox young core came together before the Yankees. Give it time bro.

  23. Judge missed 50+ games with a freak injury. Sanchez was injured all year and was at about 50% capacity. Didi and Gleybor missed a month to 6 weeks each. Something was wrong with severino and he pitched half the season as a SP5....and they STILL won 100 games. they already have added Paxton, and if they add Happ for a full year they are easily a 100+ win team. if they stayed healthy last year they probably would have won 110 and the division. Boston had basically EVERYTHING go right for them. spending money is fine. spending money stupidly is not fine. the corbin

  26. I don't think it's necessarily true that waiting it out will bring a better deal. See Jose Bautista. The changing nature of how players are being valued have really ground to a halt the signings of many players age 32 and beyond. Someone like J.A. Happ, rightly or wrongly, is likely to benefit from Corbin and Eovaldi signing. The Yanks feel they need more pitching, so by waiting I think he is an example of someone who will get a good pay day. The arguments for Harper and Machado waiting may also pay dividends for them also. Still, I think if we look at how guys that are out of their pri

  28. Ruled out for tomorrow due to the birth of his child. With the game being the first of a back to back and across the country, Id consider him highly doubtful for saturdays game as well. This seals my loss this week but I really just hope he is ready to go for mondays game.

  29. no doubt he would still be in the top 50 if he was still healthy, he owned that team and almost always had the biggest usage...his only weakness was threes but he already showed hes well capable of putting up multiple threes in a game on high percentages...you can clearly see the difference without him, nets are barely watchable and dlo is insane with the touches he gets almost every game

  40. Did you get kicked out of a Met's game some time in your life? Or did Keith Hernandez spit a lougee on you and your friend @BlueJaysIn2030? The hate is strong with you two guys, sheesh. Anyway, as a Met's fan, I don't know about other Met's fans, but it sure is nice being in the conversation with high profile talented free agents and or possible trades with very talented players. The Alderson years were brutal. This is a nice change of pace for us. Can you guys at least let us enjoy the offseason before we lose hope when the season starts?

  41. This is very true. He had by far the highest % of balls out of the zone called strikes of any player in the league. He also slumped hard when coming off the dl from his broken wrist. Before going on the dl despite all the bad calls he was still on pace to be a top 10 hitter. He also despite all the bad calls never really waivered on his approach nor chased many bad pitches out of the zone. If the umpires ever give him a fair shake and he can stay healthy for a full season I see no reason why he couldn't come close to if not exceed his rookie year performance. I really love h

  42. He'll get his minutes. 1. Based on the Bulls' game earlier against Pacers, Lauri played some C's against Turner. That's how badly they need Portis because Wendell can't be on the court the whole game. 2. Lauri needs to stick to playing 4. 3. Jabari can play 3 and 4. I know people have different opinions and I respect that. But if we're going to be objective and check HOW the Bulls' are playing on the court, Bobby Portis can be the missing piece on their frontcourt. I'm not saying that he grabs the starting spot, but rather, he can be the energy g
