  1. Fantasy football is stupid and pointless. Time to invest my time on myself and no more on my fake team of pathetic choke artists.

  2. First I never take advice from someone who starts a sentence with "look bro" Second, there is nothing worse than someone telling you too relax when you are pissed off. It's a fantasy game but the pain is real.

  3. Adrian Wojnarowski: After trade with Wizards, Suns agree to part ways with G Austin Rivers, per ESPN sources. Rivers – earning $12.6M in final year of deal – becomes a free agent upon clearing waivers. As a veteran, sides concluded Rivers fits better on an older team that’s pursuing playoffs.

  4. I wish I was like a different guy in my league who just sets his lineup every week and then just goes with the flow. It makes it worse when you actually take all the time to do your research, always be active on waivers and making trades, and spending hours on these forums because it all comes crashing down anyways and the guy who doesn't give a s*** ends up getting just as far as me in the playoffs. And he will wake up tomorrow morning and go about his life like nothing happened. I want to be like him but then always think I can do more to make my team better and then I get too emotionally in

  5. Fantasy is worst than cocaine, at least with cocaine you can have some amazing sex, unlike with fantasy football you’re too busy thinking of who to start or sit to even get it up

  6. Dropping him is the kind of move that wins a championship....for the one grabbing him immediately.

  7. That would be terrible. You'd basically know if you were pretty much done for by week 7-8. At least a 2-6 team could potentially rally to a 7-6 and make playoffs as opposed to pretty much being out halfway through the fantasy season.

  9. Where did I say Satoransky or some trash player with big minutes was winning you a league lol Their starting forwards in a week from now will likely be Ariza and Otto. Satoransky gets every single guard minute off the bench and likely some backup SF minutes. I don’t really see what you’re trying to prove here If you think Dekker is going to be a legitimate threat to Satoransky’s minutes because of 1 20 point game I don’t really think theres a point to this conversation anymore.

  10. he doesnt have anything guaranteed and hes not a trash player so i have no idea what the point of your post is. they had a bunch of new acquisitions last game that couldnt play. continuing on that theyve said everyone is available and theyre probably not done making moves especially since they could use another guard or two since they literally only have wall beal and sato. hes a good stash while we see how things play out but washington is a mess and nothing is guaranteed for him

  11. I know the feeling....I never lose these match ups as the underdog....I'm always favored and always s--- the bed. Going into last night's game I am up by 13 with my Ertz/MT against his CMC. You know the deal...I'm already deciding who I'm going to play as my WR2 next week...which defense to play, etc. I should know better. I'm 33 ******** years old with a baby sleeping in the room down the hall...WTF am I doing!!!! Is there some sort of fantasy financial investment game? Fantasy learn another language? ******** pathetic.

  12. Is anyone else so mad right now that you can't go to bed because you're too heated to do anything else? I literally am losing sleep because I'm still sitting here and looking at my score after losing by a half point.

  13. what kind of NBA team gives up after one quarter? I would not be happy if I had paid to watch the game in person

  14. Look on the bright side. You have an entire offseason to work on the fantasy football skill of predicting which of your key players will bone you unexpectedly. Then next year once you identify those players, bench them preemptively and replace them with a scrub that might get lucky, or at the very least, bone you less.

  15. and everyone should make sure their leegs have that same scoring nuance - pick sixes or fumble returns for TDs, etc should never count as points relinquished by the defense.

  17. Play-offs are dumb in FF. It's so variable. It should just be who has the best record (PF tiebreaker) at the end of the season.

  19. Pretty good write up on what JT could and should be valued at in a deal. https://www.talkingchop.com/platform/amp/2018/12/17/18144729/surplus-value-and-the-atlanta-braves-pursuit-of-j-t-realmuto

  20. Trading Tucker for Realmuto would make zero sense. The Astros have already lost Morton and possibly also Keuchel. Next year both Verlander and Cole are free agents. McCullers will need to come back from TJS. I can see them trading Tucker for a SP but not a Catcher.

  23. I’m as disappointed as anyone with the inconsistencies, but anyone who thinks he’s third option behind a guy who can’t shoot with two hands is out of their damn mind. If you watch philly play, he and embiid are still figuring out how to play together and it’s been quite awkward on offence when they share the floor thus far. I don’t expect that will continue the entire season

  24. Dude I can totally relate. Seriously right now I've gone the past 4 weeks with fantasy ruining my Sundays to the point it's put me in a bad mood. Even right now my wife doesn't get why I can be so upset about fantasy football. She doesn't get the pain of missing the championship by a half point as you watch the ball go through your player's hands on the last play of the game on a Monday night. She will never get how I feel right now, but I wish I didn't have to go through this depression for the next week. At least next weekend I won't have football to ruin it again.

  30. Consistency is not going to be found, not for guys like Bridges or even a lot of 'studs' who are All Stars and top 30-50 players night in and night out. You are going to have very bad nights and some very good nights. The key is knowing that the bad nights (like tonight) aren't bad enough for you to drop, assuming you're not in a shallow league AND knowing the good nights are the kinds that will propel you to a weekly victory, especially in a deeper league. I stress again - if you are in a 10 man or smaller league - you do not need Bridges. If you have anywhere over 15

  31. If I never looked at rankings and just went with my analysis/gut I would do infinitely better at this game. I tell myself this every year and every year I don't learn.

  32. Very important lesson to learn. It's okay to scan the experts rankings, but you always have to make your own decision based on your specific league settings, scoring system, opponent, remaining roster, and the like. Rankings are a general guideline to be considered but ignored under the right circumstances. Projections, on the other hand, must be studiously and steadfastly ignored in any and all circumstances.

  33. Best in the NBA is a very bold statement, I would just reword to borderline top 5 point guard or all star level point guard that's just way more realistic of a statement. Fox is basically John Wall with a slightlybetter jumper. His game actually doesn't resemble Mike Conley's at all outside of him being a lefty lol. I feel like the real question is: Is Fox going to be better then John Wall in 2 years? Maybe, maybe not but he's outperforming what we all expected by a longshot and that's what's most important. We all can't even agree on who the best PG is right now (It's

  36. Gotta say, I thew him in the ole' lineup hoping he could keep it going. I did watch a little bit of the game. He started off firing, missed his first 2 shots. Then proceeded to not even touch the ball for most of the first half. The rest of the Hawks team were just taking shots as soon as they got the ball. Then I turned it off, because I realized I was subjecting myself to a Nets-Hawks game and almost gouged my eyes out.

  37. I really like Hield, love his shooting, love the surprising blocks; he was a great sleeper pick. Just wish he would STEAL THE BALL every once in a while

  38. He's ranked 439th out of 451 players in RPM. he also has a negative WS/48. He literally is one of the worst players in the league. he can get buckets but his complete lack of ability on the defensive end and nonexistent playmaking or ball movement hurts his team wayyyy more. it says something when he can put up 20 pts on a garbage rebuilding team with no playoff aspirations and STILL be pushed out of the rotation for Chandler f*****g hutchison. I predict that he'll be out of the league next year. Also, if you're ever on the r/nba or r/chicagobulls subs, even the fans of the team ha

  40. Can’t really disappoint that much when he has guaranteed large minutes. Even if he were a trash player he’d bludgeon his way into counting stats with 30+ minutes. Wizards still have 0 guard backup, and he played 40+ minutes in a game that Wall played 40+. Pretty high floor with decent ceiling

  44. Thanks for the follow up . I would lean towards the Browns . Boyd is hurt and pretty much the offense is mixon . They had a great game plan against Denver by stacking the box on rbs and forcing the QB to make plays and Keenum was trash and he has more experience than current bengals QB. You gotta think Denzel ward may play as well. Good luck - hopefully we both get this chip!
