  2. 70% of last year's value doesn't apply to FG% if you're already multiplying by the counting stats. Don't talk about stats unless you understand stats.

  3. Hello.... bro’s and bro’nettes My name is Ray Bones, I’m from Miami. That doesn’t matter though, Especially since that’s not my real name - and I’m also not from Miami. what this post is about, is the complete lack of timely insight in the AC forum of this board. This isn’t football, we’re you get ample time to post a “start/sit” or “do I make this trade” type post. Fantasy basketball is a different beast. We need to be able to get quick responses DAILY, maybe even on the hour. So ... my hope is to start this catch all thread here in the main forum. I’m sure some

  4. PJ has been dropped, picked up, dropped, picked up, dropped, and currently picked up again in my league. IMO PJ being on the WW in a 10 team is not indicative of a non-competitive league. He is not a must-own for all teams in a 10 team. And the stats back that up. Sekou who was scooped up in my league is talented for sure and worth a gamble depending on who you drop, but he is not a must-own either. For everyone that is completely gaga with the Sekou hype machine, he has some fantasy holes and consistency issues which is normal being a 19 year old rookie with a questionable coach

  6. I would want a damn timeline. Not being questionable for a month and not play. If I was a fan and bought a ticket 3 weeks after his first questionable game and he’s still not playing I’d be filthy.

  7. You good bro? Even with Kyrie Injured, Dinwiddie is 19th round for the last month LOL. Bledsoe is 2nd round in 22 minutes. For the year: Bledsoe: 7th round with a slow start. Dinwiddie: 11th round with all the opportunity in the world. Now imagine if Giannis was to go down. Please join my league for next year. We got a $100 buyin 😂

  11. There should be alot of players better than Sekou a 10 team waiver wire.

  12. You have a perspective of someone who will only buy once he's already producing. We have a perspective of buying someone who can eventually produce in the near future, so we can get ahead versus the others. Since you are playing in a 6 or 10-team league with buddies who is hearing basketball for the first time, I say you can take your perspective with you and shove it somewhere other than this thread.

  16. I find Corey Seager to be an interesting player in 2020. We have seen his ADP plummet over the last 3 years. in 2018, his age 24 season, he had an ADP of 25. In 2019, his age 25 season, he had an ADP of 71. And now in 2020, his age 26 season, he has an ADP around 150. Without getting into too much detail, I argued that he was a fade in 2018 largely due to his lack of steals. In 2019 I once again argued that he was an easy fade, though at that time it was related to the effects of offseason hip and elbow surgery. In 2020, I am now reversing my tune and arguing that Seager is one of the better v

  20. No need to regret now. Signs are kinda positive now, and he should be back sooner rather than later. FWIW, probably the most reliable Wolves beat reporter and writer for The Athletic is claiming that he'll return soon.

  21. Fake video, all of Draymond Green makes hit pure net and he only missed one out of the 20 or so shots they took. I call bullshit..

  22. Great, he's questionable now with the lingering heel injury. It's now getting extremely comical for me in my main money league. Bryant, KAT, Brogdon, FVV, Holmes and now Capela's lingering heel issue. I didn't even mention Curry and Norm as I added them from the wire. Fantasy bball isn't good for my mental health lol.

  23. It's all about the options what are available in your league. If its a small league with small rosters, of course you don't need to wait and see if this guy gets a good run or if he blows. In deeper leagues (14+) it's hard to find good players who can fill in for injured players or just replace guys who stink. This guy has shown that he could become a very decent player down the stretch, the parameters for this are pretty tempting (Drummond on the trade block, Griffin out) and he has great talent. It's worth a shot and there is no need to talk negative about this kid after one dud

  25. 10 team league and have been playing for a long time, well before it was popular. What I'm saying is, this is why you don't drop useful players for hype machines that nobody knew a week ago, based on 2 solid games. Hell, this time last week, everybody was still hyping up Christian Wood.

  32. How you guys take what BBM analysts say as gold is beyond me. They are there for advice and analysis based on their own metrics and knowledge. Ultimately if you make a move for a player, you have no one to look at but yourself. What a bunch of complainers ITT lol. Blaming Josh Loyd for you dropping a player like you were commanded by your daddy.

  33. I love the posters that crush a guy who was unknown a week ago and has a bad game. Even the best guys have bad games due to foul trouble. He may not help win a week right now but the minutes are the telling sign. He is averaging 32 plus over the last five and still got 20 plus this game. As the season goes on he has the makings to be a league winner. In fantasy opportunity rules and he is getting a lot of run. The stats will follow. Like a past poster said be patient and enjoy the fact you added him before he went off as opposed to not getting him because you were to

  34. it matters if he has the tools, everything matters in the game of basketball so that also goes for fantasy as well, i only see positives and possibilities, if youre not going by that in the game of fantasy when youre lookin for the next “big” thing for your team, then i dont know what youre doing, my ww is dry, i always risk and every year end up with someone relatively unknown contributing on my team when it matters the most...so yeah, thats that

  36. I dunno, this is the kind of mindset that prohibits NFL teams from getting out of perpetual mediocre (or worse) ruts, by taking the traditional/safe route or "doing what you're supposed to do".. In reality Nick Foles likely isn't going to lead the Jaguars on a deep playoff run next year, so what's the upside to starting him over Minshew? There really isn't much because Foles is also at the point in his career where he's probably not developing a whole lot further, he's shown that he can absolutely get a hot streak going but at the end of the day he isn't a player most smart teams would fe
