  1. I wonder if Scott Mendick would be of more interest to fantasy owners if his name was Scott Womensbreasts.

  2. The timeline is less important than making sure he feels completely and utterly embarrassed by his idiocy the entire time he is out.

  3. Are we only counting Pro Bowlers who were voted in, and not the ones who were injury swaps? Like Waddle the best of all the guys they have. Fuller is very dangerous during the 5-6 games per season he is healthy. Parker kind of is what he is at this point. A good quarteback can elevate these guys into solid fantasy numbers. And Fitzpatrick did, last year. Tua didn't.

  4. Yep same here. I have him on Yahoo so I think he is eligible at RB, WR, and TE as well 🙂

  9. I've been going back and forth on Robles the past month on his ROS value; I had never taken a deeper look at some of his metrics prior to this year and I'm more pessimistic than optimistic now. (From Baseball Savant) I can't include more screenshots due to file size (boo!) Here's my quick analysis or thoughts: He doesn't seem to make good contact. You can see from the above he's in the bottom 10% for Avg Exit Velocity, bottom 11% for HardHit, bottom 9% barrel. The positive is he's striking out less while walking more; which is typically a good sign but not sure

  12. Eric Haase hit two home runs tonight while starting in LF for the tigers. He has C eligibility in most leagues and has shown pop in the minors. Just want to get his name out there in case he turns into a C eligible player with the potential for a lot of ABs.

  15. He has been owned since the draft in all of my leagues. If he is a free agent, pick him up now.

  17. Had to put Stanton on the IL. He joins Marco Gonzales, my only other player to hit the IL this year. Brutal stretch of injuries I'm battling through at the moment. Feel free to send sympathy.

  20. Definitely not Colome. Could be Robles. Could be Rogers. Maybe Colome. Maybe some combination of all 3. Could also be a mystery team. Hope that helps!

  24. While true its mostly because Yahoo leagues have such small rosters and most only allow for 2-3 IL slots.

  26. Yeah but the difference between JoRam and Lindor is that Joram is a good player and Lindor sucks Trust me as a lindor owner last year. The most overrated player in fantasy, and I held this opinion before his slump

  27. Maybe the way to motivate him is a No Hair Coloring policy until his AVG is at a minimum of .250. He puts more time into his hair than his swing - maybe try to get him to re-focus.

  28. I mean, maybe a few more. Statistically speaking, a hitter is likely to have had his best hitting season at, or before, the age of 27, and his "prime" years are generally going to be 26-29. It's only with modern training regimens and, frankly, PED usage (which has never stopped and which fans and media seem determined to ignore regardless of how obvious it may be in regards to a particular player) that we've seen extreme outliers where guys are getting better or remaining elite well into their thirties. A cursory google search will confirm that the above is correct. Her

  29. that little hitting streak last week was an anomaly. A little blip on the radar. He's back to swinging at ball 4's in the dirt and embarrassing himself. Look at his hair for Pete's sake. He's a literal clown.

  30. Confirm. I'll let you know if he has a soul, all.

  32. You guys may have missed it, but a stat correction was just applied to Adolis. He was awarded a stolen base for May 9, 2021, giving him a final line for that day of: 3/4 1 1 5 1 .750 Aristides Aquino 2.0 can even provide retroactive production!!!

  35. which means either they massage it out and he plays tommarow or he is out for 10 days to the IL. I'll compromise and take he sits out 3 days and plays the weekend healthy and hits a few bombs

  36. It's straight out of the Final Destination series: avoids the seemingly inevitable IL stint after the collision only to screw up his ankle the next game, when he was supposed to be unavailable. Coincidence - I think not....

  38. Gettleman fleeced the Bears in that trade. The Giants will have the Bears Top 5 overall pick in 2022. Bears 2021 schedule is BRUTAL. NFC West + AFC North + Bucs + Giants + Raiders Bears should be a Bottom 5 NFL team in 2021 with this brutal gauntlet of a schedule. "Easiest" games here are the 2 divisional Lions games. The Bears are probably worse than every team on their schedule besides the Lions. This has 4-13 record written all over it. What an incredible trade this was for the Giants, the more you look at it. Kadarius Toney + the Bears Top 5 overall p

  39. I do the same exercise every year, and it usually gives the same results. Haven't done it for 2020 yet, so I'll do it now. I take the points scored for 2020 (eg https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/reports/leaders/half-ppr.php?year=2020&start=1&end=17) and compare that with the draft positions at the start of that same year (eg https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/adp/half-point-ppr-overall.php). I throw these in an Excel and with some magic and some elbow grease we can then get something like this: These are the (average) draft positions, and the points they scored throughout the se

  40. forum was dying before covid, and covid really jumped it a level. No minor league season last year. Like, someone probably should have said something last winter i guess, but it's not really surprising. Lots of prospect threads have very little discussion compared to what they would have 3-4 years ago.
