  8. Psh, that has nothing on my league: * Mandatory weekly blood tests to ensure managers have optimal levels of electrolytes and red blood cells * Owners must pass a rigourous obstacle course (custom built by the third nephew of James Naismith) including dribbling underwater, jump shooting over 20 ft barriers, and ability to make reverse layups with both hands * Entry fee of $5. That is, every time you enter the league website or check your team you have to pay $5 * Custom website/mobile interface designed and built by Mark Zuckerberg (in his free time) * Masters-level un

  9. Ill take a stab: Arizona Diamondbacks - Unclear. Crichton/Soria/Devinski/Ginkel. Total guess. I lean Crichton for first shot. Bukaskas wild card. May be the smart play Atlanta Braves - Looks like Will Smith essentially gets the role with the *could be Martin caveat.* I don't see it. Right now he's top 10 in my book since his skills are just as good as the elite. Would rather have him than Romano and market agrees. Baltimore Orioles - Tanner Scott in the lead? Nobody really knows. Hyde the most unpredictable. Arguably the worst bullpen to spec given team/coach.

  10. Hey all, been awhile since i posted in here. This is my first year NOT playing fantasy baseball in almost 2 decades... and it's just not right if i don't come in here and drop a thank you. This forum has been part of half my life. Made a lot of internet friends in here, learned an absolute TON from too many geniuses to properly tag. Made a lot of memories playing. Ill forever remember The Kluber Mom Incident, epic. 🀣🀣 Mods, i know this post breaks the rules but at this point im asking for you to look the other way for a day for an old vet. If not, I'll get over

  13. Figured I'd contribute a few tidbits of the more esoteric advice I've cobbled together over the years (I'm about a decade removed from the days when I actually blogged for a fairly popular fantasy baseball site). Nothing even close to earth shattering, may make a few percentage points difference at the end of the year. Every little bit helps. Yahoo's "Trading Block" Let's say an owner drops someone you want, but you don't have the best waiver pick. Or maybe you're hoping the player slides through waivers. Now's a good time to head over to your trading block and make some changes. Sw

  15. Been eyeing him all season. Saw this one coming from a mile away. As I had been saying for months to anyone who’d listen....All that sits between Richie James and 9 grabs on 13 targets for 184 and a tuddy, is a season ending injury to Kittle, a simultaneous lengthy IR stint to #1 WR Deebo Samuel, low volume passing Jimmy Garappolo and RB’s Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson, a late breaking COVID outbreak to WR Kendrick Bourne - causing the close contact mandatory shutdown of Brandon Aiyuk, and the outright releasing of WR Dante Petis. Nailed it. Only thing I didn’t see coming was t

  16. Longtime lurker and Steelers fan, but I've been watching Claypool closely since the rave reviews started coming out of camp, so I'm going to wade into this debate. I think this take is pretty reasonable, but I'm going to play a little Devil's Advocate. What if the target spread, and by extension game plan, aren't as much of a driving force as they are symptoms of the lack of an elite offensive play-maker aside from Ben? I understand that it's still VERY early to be bestowing the "Elite" and "Superstar" tags to Claypool, but if you look at all of the information in front of us right n

Guys can get traded but also remember it's not a lock that they don't close where they're traded. American League Boston- Barnes (ADP 225) . I know people are talking about Ottavino, but I dunno. He may be washed. NYY - Chapman (ADP 71). I think I'd rather have him a round or two later than Hendricks or Hader TB -Andersson (170) - Tampa is going to Tampa. Don't kid yourself. If Anderson got

  28. Now that I've posted a fun GIF, let's do something more serious. I saw above (and/or in Gurley thread) the speculation that this might turn into a brutal RBBC with Gurley out. Anything is possible, but let's look at the evidence. Last season, Atlanta had a washed former star RB as its RB1. (Sound familiar?) That man was Devonta Freeman. He missed two games last season: Weeks 11 and 12. The snap shares in those games: Brian Hill 60% and 59%. No other tailback (they have a fullback on this roster too) exceeded 26% in either game. That man was Ollison (26% and 18% in two games). Ito
