  1. 10 team PPR

My other Keepers will be: Zeke 1st Round and Conner 7th Round.

Do I keep a WR or do I keep another RB in case Zeke's holdout lasts or Conner ends up in a heavy timeshare. We don't have a flex, so the 3rd RB will be sitting if I keep 3 of them.

I do like Aaron Jones as a 7th as insurance, and he will only move up 1 round every year, so hopefully lot's of value, along with Conner.

If I keep two 7th rounders, then one becomes a 6th for this year, so Conner will actually be in the 6th round spot, if I keep Kupp, Edelman or Jones.

    PPR - 10 team Keeper - Keep 3.

I have to have my keepers locked in by next Monday, August 19th. Yes, I know it sounds insane to keep Kelce as a first rounder over Zeke, but there is also the chance that Zeke pulls a Le'Veon and I get nothing out of him. I doubt I'll have anything definitive by next Monday. Kelce is the #1 player at his position. Julio is a distant 3rd to me, just because I have had him for 3 or 4 years and can't take the weekly up and downs. In the end, he ends up pretty well, but you get many weeks of clunkers and huge games it seems.

My other keepers will be James Conner(7th Rd) and either Aaron Jones(7th Rd.),Cooper Kupp(7th Rd) or Julian Edelman(7th Rd.)

If I kept Conner and Jones, then I could keep Kelce and still have 2 decent late rd RB's and picks 2-6 to fill in WR.

Flame me for even thinking it or give me your best opinions please.

And I traded David Johnson for Zeke to my best friend near the end of last season as he decided to keep K.Hunt over Zeke since we cannot keep 2 first rounders. We have been making fun of him since. Himself included.

He will have the first pick after keepers and would select Zeke and right a wrong that he did to himself. He would then have Zeke, DJ, Mahomes and Ertz. I don't think I can allow that to happen :)

I've always subscribed to the theory that a good trade helps both teams. Now, getting the other manager to believe in that philosophy is sometimes tough to do. Sometimes, managers won't trade simply because they're scared they will be making your team 'better'.

And btw, it is very much so, a great league. Lucky to be a part of it; in our 3rd year now.

    (team in Sig)

I consistently see posts about who won this trade and who won that trade. If you are a guy that trades just to win a trade, the you're going to find it harder to actually trade and find willing trade partners. You should try to trade out of surplus and need. If you have 2 awesome 2b's and a s---y 3b and another owner has 2 awesome 3b's and a s---y 2b, then it should be pretty easy to trade one for the other and you both "win". If they have no pitching and a ton of hitting and you have a ton of hitting and no pitching, then its pretty easy to figure out what you both need. It's when you want gold for your silver and trying to win a trade that doesn't usually work. Two of my best friends have been in my money league for 20 years and I'd be surprised if they even have 5 trades total in that time. They each want 2 of your best players for that guy that sits on their bench that they got off of the waiver wire. They always want to win the trade, no matter what. At this point, I don't even try with them. Then I have another buddy that I can trade with at least once each season because he understands his team needs and mine. So don't always just try to win a trade. Sure it feels good if in the end it works out better for you than the other guy, but its ok if its even and benefits both. Use other details like need to get another owner to realize why the trade is good for BOTH of you.

Getting this out of the way early. It's sunday, The day where all my dreams and hopes of a win come to a hault regardless of the lead. My opponents players all have breakout performances while mine are resting or going 0-5 and SP getting blasted by teams like MIa, SF and Bal.

There's a team in the league that I run called Sunday Bed $hitters for this exact reason. Happens to me a lot too. I had an 11-3 lead on Sunday 2 weeks ago and 10-4 on a Sunday 3 weeks ago and lost both matches 8-7. I am playing him this week and up 9-6 today. We'll see who craps it.

If you're looking for encouragement to drop  player less than 1 week into a season, I'm not going to be the one to give it to you.

Did I say I was going to drop him or did I ask how he looked? I'm sorry I did at this point.

  7. 2-17 so far and absolutely nothing but those 2 singles on the stat sheet. He tore up spring training, so I bought into it, reluctantly. Maybe he was just facing some not so good pitching? After 2 down years, is he really done this time? I haven't seen any live ab's to see what he looks like.

  8. I despise slow drafts. I joined a random new Dynasty on Fantrax. Then the draft started and was told it was a slow draft. The commissioner is giving up to 8 hours per pick. 8!!!! It was supposed to start at 5pm Sunday, but the #1 pick apparently forgot he signed up. So then the commish put it on hold until we got a replacement. It started on 8am on Monday. We are not even through round 5, 50 hours later. There are 50 rounds. My last pick in round 4 was 21 hours ago!!!! He said that he will lessen the time soon, but this is still ridiculous. Never again with the slow draft.

  9. Looking to join a H2H Dynasty up to $50. Doesn't matter the site. Would be willing to start from fresh, but also willing to take over a team as long as it had any chance. Some I've seen, I know why the owner bailed on them and it would just be wasted money. Just want to join a league that will keep up and running year after year. Been playing for 20+ years and am commish of a 20 year keeper. Also is 2 other keepers for multiple years.

  10. 10 team H2H Categories 6 keeper.

Can keep any 6 players for how ever long you want. They basically use rounds 1-6, then the draft starts.

My keepers are: Acuna, Soto, T.Turner, J.Ramirez, DeGrom.

My last keeper is between Nola and Torres. I don't usually keep pitchers as I never trust their arms to stay healthy. I am making an exception with DeGrom this year. Do I add to that risk and keep Nola as well? I feel like Torres is a type 25 keeper in any keeper/dynasty format and might keep his SS eligibility with Didi hurting and Tulo sure to go down at some point.

  11. 10 team H2H Points. Keep 6. Rosters lock on Monday for scoring week.

    Baez as a 15th

Kershaw as a 12th( I think I've decided that I don't trust him at all, even at this discount)

    G.Sanchez as a 25th

    I am keeping R.Acuna, J.Soto, C.Correa, T.Turner and Vlad Jr.

Would I be better off keeping a catcher over Baez? We have 2B, SS, MI and UTIL, so I could fit in all 4 of Baez, Correa, Turner and Vlad any given week.

    Ronald Acuna 6

    Juan Soto 25

    Javier Baez 15

    Gary Sanchez 25

    Clayton Kershaw 12

    Trea Turner 25

    Cody Bellinger 25

    Carlos Correa 25

    Vladimir Guerrero Jr 25

Some of these rounds are ridiculous - how is Correa a 25th rounder like 4 years into his career?  I love keeper leagues but you need some inflation and expiration.  Makes Acuna in the 6th feel like your getting taken to the cleaners.

Love Sanchez in 25th but cant really keep C in a 10-teamer, is it 1 or 2 catchers?

I joined the league 6 years ago and this is how it was setup. It really does ruin the value of the top of the draft as I said, my 1st round pick last year was Quintana, so its hard to get any value at the top. I always get value from prospects off of the wire that are last rounders. Hence, my current lineup of late round keepers. 1 catcher league also. I kept Sanchez last year.

I agree with yours except I keep both Baez and Correa and drop Kershaw.

Depending on league setup in a 10 team league there will be plenty of sp to draft.

Last year 20 of the 60 keepers were pitchers. It seems like pitching is usually what determines who wins the matchups because wins are +10 and losses are -10. I don't like to keep pitchers, but with Kershaw as a 12th, I've kept him for the last 5 years or so.  Might be time to move on, but I'm not sure there will be alot left to start a staff with. Last year I had to draft Quintana with my 1st pick and that pretty much blew up my staff.

  14. 10 Team H2H Points

I need to choose 6 keepers from the following list. Whatever round a player is picked in will ALWAYS stay his keeper round, unless he is dropped and redrafted the next season. If you have multiple players of the same round, then one of them moves up a round just for that year and then back to original once the new season starts. Free Agents are valued as a last round keeper. Below is the list I need to choose from and their keeper round.

    Ronald Acuna 6

    Juan Soto 25

    Javier Baez 15

    Gary Sanchez 25

    Clayton Kershaw 12

    Trea Turner 25

    Cody Bellinger 25

    Carlos Correa 25

    Vladimir Guerrero Jr 25

    My first choices are: Acuna, Soto, Turner, Kershaw, Vlad and either Baez or Correa. So I would lose rounds 6, 12, 15, 23, 24, 25 or 6, 12, 22, 23, 24, 25

Pretty good start, but since a lot of stars are last round keepers it really messes up the first few rounds as the actual talent there is not actually top of the draft talent. Anyway, which 6 would you go with?

  15. 2015: #3 Seed 9-5 Lost in the first round 112-112. Tie goes to higher seed.

2016: #3 seed 10-4 Lost in the first round with 64 points. Lowest point total of the year.

2017: #2 seed 12-2 Lost in the first round with 125 points. I was up 125-100 with Gurley left against me. I watched him put up 41 points against my Hawks while in the stadium.

2018: #2 seed 10-4 Lost in the first round. Currently have 43 pts and projected to 61pts. Lowest point total of the year.

Had OJ Howard and Jimmy Graham at TE. They both got injured. Picked up Jordan Reed and Jack Doyle. Doyle to IR and Reed hurt as he always is. Picked up Njoku. He's questionable. In a position that is already hard to fill with someone consistent, this is making it increasingly difficult.

Aaaaaaaaaand I used Njoku and he got skunked. I give up.
