  1. The only way I could fit him on my team is to drop Crowder for him? NYJ have a crowded receiving field, but Crowder is a sneaky PPR play. Hard to drop a decent bye week filler for a pure speculative play. Is Watkins banged up already?
  2. Agreed. I just joined a league 3 years ago with college friends. 1-6th place payouts, most points, least points, weekly most points. It's impossible to actually make any money, nevermind it is an extremely competitive league.
  3. I've never seen such horrible luck in my life (12 years of playing FF). We do have a good portion of prize pool going to most points, but my lead just vanished this week. We do have a decent playoff seeding rule to help. The playoffs seeding is top 5 teams from three divisions using standard tiebreakers + 6th seed is highest points from the remaining teams. I have a good shot to get that 6th seed, but the team second in points doesn't have a good record either. I think the bigger issue was the divisions. 12 teams, 3 divisions, 6 of 13 games go against division. 3 of the 4 teams in my division
  4. As of last week: 1st in points - 1280 (leading by ~50pts) 1st in points against - 1303 1st in Breakdown ranking (total wins if each week you faced every team that week) 80% of games faced an opponent with a top 3 performance Record - 3-6-1 (tie was for league most points of that week)
  5. Good deal. Jones is solid (would like if he gets receptions more though). JuJu is nice, but will be inconsistent. Crow is a bust.
  6. I like Jackson, Davis, Drake, Adams and Powell. Doctson just doesn't get enough looks to warrant consideration.
  7. Paul Richardson (SEA) - pretty good ROS schedule, good QB, no run game, competition for catches from Baldwin, Graham and Lockett Robby Anderson (NYJ) - decent ROS schedule, average QB, some run game, limited competition for catches but volume is lower Corey Davis (TEN) - decent ROS schedule, above average QB, good run game, ?? competition, unproven commodity I have it as Richardson>Anderson>Davis......but Davis intrigues me. I have the #2 WW and am looking to fill 3 roster spots removing dead weight, so I could potentially get two of these guys. othere W
  8. I want no part of JAC D. Hilton has an occasional blowup with Brisset, but this is not the week. I am actually starting Hunter Henry (against DEN) over Hilton this week. Crazy to think that I have more hope for a TE in a crowded WR/TE team, but I see Hilton's ceiling as 4-50-0.
  9. Great......I have Hilton and Cooper. Garcon is my WR1.
  10. I have Cooper, Garcon and Hilton (start 2)......I know this isn't AC forum, but for what its worth, I am starting Cooper (and Hilton). Wing and a prayer + I think OAK will be looking to fire on all cylinders after last week's National TV drubbing and I don't think they'll be able to run the ball on Denver.
  11. I agree with PackerBacker - - I like Kupp. Sometimes you have to go with your eye test. Kupp and Goff have been connecting throughout preseason and continued in game 1. Outside of Norman, WAS has a below pedestrian pass D. Gillisee is next, but i just can never trust BB. West has been pretty mediocre at best. The rest are all dice rolls.
  12. I agree with this one. I'd rather give up Golladay than Crowder. Once Cousins shakes the rust off, Crowder can be an 80-90 receptions guy with 7-8 TDs. Golladay will get his TDs, but it is unclear how much volume he'll get......and believe it or not, I don't think Crowell is that much better than Powell. Forte is going to break down sooner or later. Then you have Powell as a 3 down back. I get that NYJ is bad, but so is CLE. Crowell is JAG, but Powell has some proven talent.
  13. Start Hogan. Amendola is not likely playing and Peterson will be shadowing Hilton with Brissett/Tolzien throwing to him (its gonna be ugly).
  14. Garcon (@SEA) - Tough matchup, but is going to get his looks. I just am not sure if he'll be able to convert on them. Hilton (ARI) - Good overall matchup unless Peterson sticks on Hilton. QB situation is a mess regardless of Brissett/Tolzien. Powell (@OAK) - Tough matchup, crappy offense and Forte is still hanging around, cancelling out Powell's upside. Not the best alternatives, but I have it as: Garcon>Hilton>Powell, but I can be swayed with a resonable case. Leave a link, I'll provide thoughtful responses.
