  1. Wow, I have to disagree that George "isn't even on batums level defensively and probably won't ever be." He's 22 years old already locking up elite scorers. Seems like gross exaggeration to me.
  2. I never said George was a bad defender. I have watched him play, and he definitely is solid at the end of the floor. However, Batum is on a whole different level. He's one of the few players in the league that I've watched who can seemingly shut down the game's premier offensive players without an effort. To be fair, his defense has not been up to his par this season most likely due to a heavy workload, but I'd definitely take Batum's defense ahead of George's. The few Portland games I've seen they put Matthews on the other teams primary scorer, including lebron. From what I've seen th

  4. Batum is likewise the face of the Blazers future, go look at new GM Neil Olshey's comments on Batum when he was an RFA and Olshey had just taken over the team. Batum is a superior in every facet of the game except rebounding. Eh, I'm not sure we can call Batum the face of their franchise with Lillard and Aldridge there. He's better all around than George now, but I like George's long term situation.
  5. As of now and maybe next year I'll take Batum but I feel like George has a higher ceiling given the fact that he's essentially being touted as the face of the pacers future.
  6. It would take a first rounder for me to trade him and we don't even play keepers. In a dynasty league he would be literally untouchable outside of Durant, lebron, harden.
  7. We did rave about his tear but he's been on this tear for a month and a half since his goose egg in early December. The lack of posts in here lately is a testament to his recent consistency. He's a borderline first rounder and I'm not even thinking about selling high, even with grander coming back.
  8. Yeah. They are projecting him to be better than George Hill but they spoke too soon. Going back to Paul George, he's like a ninja out there with 6 steals. I've been trading for him the whole season but the owner won't budge. Who are you offering for him? I was offering Ty Lawson for him in his slump (early to mid November) and Steph Curry last December (because I have so many guards). Still, nothing. Lol. Damn. I wouldn't do it for Ty but I might take Steph. Depends on team needs obviously but that's a more than fair offer.
  9. Damn horrible timing for me. I can't be mad at PG though, he's been a stud. And I had the flu this past week and barely got out of bed much less play a basketball game.
  10. Love this guy. I'm really impressed with how he literally flipped a switch after that goose egg game. He's been a bonafide all star ever since. One of my new favorite players after seeing him play for the first time this season.
  11. Yeah I love how George plays. He settles for a lot of jumpers when he should probably attack, but when he gets hot he's scorching hot (9 threes in one game this season). But the main thing is his overall activity. He crashes the boards on every single shot on both ends. You don't see that from many perimeter players in this league. Elite defender too. Don't let jr's points fool you tonight, PG has locked him up and his only points came off screens or ridiculous fadeaways. Amazing defense
  12. And not to get too off topic but Tyler hansbrough is a black hole offensively. Credit to George though, even when hes slumping he's determined to shoot his way out of it. sometimes it works out like against the heat the other night, but as all PG owners know he'll have the occasional 4-18 game.
  13. The entire pacers look like absolute crap offensively. Possibly the most boring team in the league to watch. Paul is tossing up bricks
  14. Dunno, but George is their guy now. Wouldn't be surprised if he's still the go to guy with granger back.
