  1. The one complaint you could have had about him was his sb% in aaa, and then he goes out and swipes 4 sb in two games. I love this guy already.
  2. Nickname Suggestion: Cody Blue Balls - His team is blue - He hits balls far - He gives you blue balls when he's not in your line up (on another team or DL)
  3. 2-5 with a HR, 2B, and SB. Continues to amaze in aaa
  4. Dude is more injury prone than Sam Jackson's character in Unbreakable, yet takes a fastball straight to the throat like a champ... Stays in the game and goes to the hospital as a precaution after, everything checked out fine http://m.mlb.com/news/article/247947338/rich-hill-hit-in-throat-by-pitch-vs-padres/
  5. Current NL MVP Odds (from https://www.betonline.ag/sportsbook): Bryce Harper (WSH) -145 Kris Bryant (CHC) +10000 Corey Seager (LAD) +3300 Anthony Rizzo (CHC) +10000 Nolan Arenado (COL) +450
  6. Of course, wasn't saying he ever will be or ever even sniff Pedro. Just cool to hear any comparison to him.
  7. Off topic but a couple months back Razzball did a podcast and Grey kept pronouncing his name in a robot voice, so now when I read his name I can't help but read it in that same robot voice. It's both a blessing and a curse.
  8. When I watched his start at AZ, I was very disappointed I didn't get any shares. Dude's stuff is nasty, announcers mentioned Pedro when talking about his stuff.
  9. I went ahead and made the add in my 12 team mixed, hoping to get lucky. My reasoning being he's currently sitting at 92 innings, and I would reasonably expect a cap of 150-160 IP (125 in 2015, 115 in 2016). I don't see them wasting another 40-50 innings in the minors when the Rays could use those innings to give them a shot at the playoffs. If I'm the Rays I'm playing to win, and he clearly makes them better. Wouldn't be surprised to see a DL stint or move to the bullpen from Odorizzi or Snell. Let Honeywell pitch and help you get to the playoffs, and maybe by that point Snell or O
  10. How about the BB/K improvement Mookie has shown so far? Last year he was at 0.61, this year 1.30. This is an elite rate for someone his age - filter by guys 25 and under over the last 25 years you're looking at names like Lofton, Ventura, Knoblauch, Pujols, Pedroia, etc. My point is, Mookie is a stud, and will be for a long time. I don't know, maybe in today's baseball of K's and HRs he's just undervalued by some.
