  1. Is he stash-worthy in a redraft leagues? Is it possible he gets the call in September?
  2. To me, this is a no brainer. I like the Mookie and Jack side, by a mile. Mookie is the best player in the deal, and you know what you're getting with him. His top tier talent is hard to come by, you don't know what you are going to get out of Acuna and Kingery. I'll take the Mookie in the bank, no question.
  3. In what context? Keeper league? How many teams? Categories?
  4. I guess I'm 11th overall in the 1st round, Yelich will likely fall to me after 24 players are kept...
  5. Thanks for your help. I guess my hang up is I just don't see a huge difference in potential 2018 offensive production between Machado and Yelich. Yelich will likely have better OBP, more SB. Machado higher SLG. Runs and RBI will be pretty close between the 2, slight edge to Machado. I guess when you consider the scarcity of positions between 3B/SS and OF, Machado has the edge. Does it make a difference that it's a 4 OF league?
  6. In my 12-team, 5x5 (OBP, SLG, R, RBI, SB) keeper league, I'm trying to decide whether or not to throw Manny Machado back. I would be keeping Christian Yelich instead. This would be the last season of keeper eligibility for Machado. I'd have to throw him back next season. I could potentially keep Yelich for the next 3 seasons. We only keep 2 out of 30 players, and my other keeper is going to be Alex Bregman, whom I could keep for the next 3 seasons as well. Machado's value has gone up with his likely move to shortstop, and Yelich's value has gone
  7. I really appreciate the feedback guys. I personally consider our league more of a redraft league because we are only keeping 24 players (2 per team), so the Bumgarner argument isn't outlandish at all. I guess the real problem is that I'm afraid if I throw Bregman back he develops into superstar status, and I have to live knowing I gave up a player I could have had control over for 3 more seasons. If I do keep Machado and Bumgarner it's not the end of the world, I just need to keep 2 different players I inherit this season because their contracts are up. Another scenario I'm starting to think a
  8. Fwiw, we have 30-man rosters with the following positions to fill: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, OFx4, U RPx2, Px5 thanks again
  9. Any other thoughts on this 6x6 format? Thanks everyone!
  10. That's kind of what I'm thinking as well. Would hate to get rid of SLG because of doubles and triples. I think HR are already fairly represented in our 5x5, just trying to find a creative way to make these couple league mates happy. Thanks!
