  1. I’m in a weekly Head to Head using Runs, RBIs, HR, SB, Avg. Trout is DTD and I have Max Kepler available to fill in.

    My lineup

    C-Gary Sanchez

    1-Josh Bell

    2-Yoan Moncada

    3-Anthony Rendon

    SS-Jorge Polanco

    OF-Christian Yelich

    OF-Joey Gallo

    OF-Mike Trout or Max Kepler

    U-Pete Alonso

I feel like my lineup can probably afford to gamble either way. But I’m curious which you guys would prefer, Kepler likely every game or Trout who I might not get until the weekend?

  2. As a Trout and Sanchez owner myself, if I were offered Bellinger and Albies for them I’d immediately reject and not think twice about it. So I’m clearly in favor of Trout/Sanchez no question. To expand on that a little and answer your Bellinger for Trout 1for1 question, my answer is Trout. Me personally I wouldn’t even deal Trout for Bellinger/Albies. I’d need to be blown away to consider moving Trout.

Looking at that pitching staff for only a 10 team league, my guess is a stud starting pitcher must have been dealt as part of a package for either Yelich or trout

I don’t know if he is still considered a stud, but yes I did recently move Aaron Nola along with Manny Machado and Juan Soto for Christian Yelich and Shane Bieber. This trade is how I had an open roster spot.

Thank you all for the advice. I did go ahead and scoop Franmil Reyes and currently have a claim in for Pete Alonso dropping Domingo Santana. However I’m starting to debate if dropping Zach Davies might be a better option.

  4. I’m in a 10 team H2H redraft. I’ve currently got an open spot after pulling a trade and I’m trying between a few players to pick up.

    My team

    OF-Michael Conforto

    OF-Yasiel Puig

1-Pete Alonso * on waivers until Monday

    SP-Andrew Heaney

Anyone feel strongly about one of these choices? I’m leaning Reyes but probably trying to claim Alonso off waivers. Thoughts? WHIR

  5. So someone cut Puig in my weekly 10 Team 5x5 H2H redraft league. I’m struggling trying to determine if I should use my #4 waiver on him. I mean it’s likely a higher claim is submitted but I think I probably need to try, even though I might not need him. But who would I drop?

    C-G Sanchez

    1-J Gallo

    2-Y Moncada

    3-A Rendon

    Bench Arms

    C Archer

    Z Wheeler

    J Musgrove

If I submit a claim who would you drop?

  6. I probably wouldn’t do the original trade. Cutch just doesn’t excite me. If you could get Rendon/Corbin for JV I’d definitely consider that depending on the rest of your lineup. On my phone so can’t see if you have it in a Sig.

  7. My league is a weekly 10 team 5x5 Head to Head redraft league. Just drafted over the weekend without doing any of my normal prep work. How does it look and should I make any moves?

    C-Gary Sanchez

    1-Joey Gallo

    2-Robinson Cano

    3-Anthony Rendon

    SS-Manny Machado

    OF-Mike Trout

    OF-Juan Soto

    RP-Kirby Yates

    RP-Jose Leclerc

Bench//SP-Dallas Keuchel, SP- Ross Stripling, SP-Jon Gray, SP-Joey Lucchesi, SP-Brandon Woodruff

Free Agents that I’m interested in are the following.

OF-Domingo Santana, OF- Ramon Laureano, OF-Franmil Reyes, SS-Jorge Polanco, 2-Jeff McNeil, SP-Reynaldo Lopez, and SP- Sonny Gray

Any definite moves I should make immediately? Thanks in advance.

  8. My roster is as follows

    C-G Sanchez

    1-J Abreu

    2-S Gennett

    3-T Shaw

    SS-A Simmons

    OF-M Betts

    OF-C Blackmon

    OF-M Haniger

    U-A Rizzo

Bench bats: E Suarez, J Lowrie, G Bird, M Carpenter

    SP-A Wood

    SP-L Castillo

    SP-J Berrios

    SP-W Buehler

    SP-M Clevinger

    RP-B Hand

    RP-B Treinen

Bench arms: S Manaea, CC Sabathia, DL J Cueto

In a 10 man 5x5 Head to Head weekly redraft I made this move below.

I sent Abreu, Haniger, Carpenter, and Berrios for Altuve and Corbin. I know Corbin is scary but I'm looking to immediately flip him if I can. Did I make the correct play here??

    Thanks in advance.

For the ROS, I would expect both Betts and Bryant to have similar stats except that Mookie will get a ton more SB. Mookie could perform better in the other stat categories as well, but I doubt it would be significant. So I think it's probably worth making the move to pickup someone like Syndergaard. Definitely a tough call where he's easily the best player in the league right now, but I'd take my chance on him not hitting above .350 the rest of the way.

Also as a side note, do you really think you need 4 bench bats? I think if I were you I'd go with 2 bench bats to pick up 2 more arms. I think the extra wins and Ks are worth more than the small impact they could have on ERA and WHIP, especially where your arms aren't necessarily elite anyway. And the bench bats your losing would likely only play once or twice a week anyway.

Sorry I left out that this is actually a weekly setup. Unfortunately I can't effectively adopt a streaming philosophy here. Ideally I would absolutely roll out as many extra SP starts as I could.

Thanks for your help. I'm really close to pushing that accept button.

  10. Thanks for mine.

As for your Machado for Goldy/Moose, I'd definitely hold. I do think, hope, that Goldy turns it around but Machado is a beast right now. Just imagine what he'll do once/if he lands on a real contender. Too much value in Machado to deal him here.

  11. 10 team 5x5 head to head redraft.

I'm currently sitting in first but it's way too early for that. Just wanted a point of reference for my current rotation's production to date.

    My roster is as follows

    C-G Sanchez

    1-J Abreu

    2-S Gennett

    3-T Shaw

    SS-A Simmons

    OF-M Betts

    OF-C Blackmon

    OF-M Haniger

    U-A Rizzo

Bench bats: E Suarez, J Lowrie, G Bird, M Carpenter

    SP-A Wood

    SP-L Castillo

    SP-J Berrios

    SP-W Buehler

    SP-M Clevinger

    RP-B Hand

    RP-B Treinen

Bench arms: S Manaea, CC Sabathia, DL J Cueto

So the offer is my Mookie Betts for Kris Bryant with 3rd/OF eligibility and Noah Syndergaard.

I'd love to acquire both pieces but it's damn hard to move a guy going ape**** like Mookie is. Anyone have an opinion here? Thanks in advance and WHIR this afternoon.

  12. So I'm in a 10 team weekly 5x5 head to head redraft league on Yahoo (Hits, Hrs, Rbis, Sb, Avg / Wins, Ks, Era, Saves, Whip).

Well I didn't touch pitching until the 9th round so now I'm trying to determine who, if anyone, to potentially drop for Charlie Morton. Morton was dropped post draft by another team so he is technically on waivers. My roster is as follows.

    C- G Sanchez

    1- J Abreu

    2- A Rizzo

    3- T Shaw

    SS- C Seager

    OF- C Blackmon

    OF- M Betts

    OF- B Buxton

    U- M Cabrera

    Bench bats

    OF- E Inciarte

    2/SS/OF- C Taylor

    2- S Kingery

    SP- J Berrios

    SP- A Wood

    SP- L Castillo

    SP- J Cueto

    SP- M Fulmer

    RP- B Hand

    SP/RP- M Clevinger

    SP- L Giolito

    SP- D Lamet

    RP- J Hader

Any obvious drop to acquire Morton? Or should I see what shakes with my current setup? Thanks in advance and obviously WHIR.

I get that and if it was a WR who has been less productive I'd agree, but he's probably been the best overall WR in fantasy this season and I can't see benching him/

Also, that third string QB threw him a TD pass last week and I'm sure he'll be targeting him a ton this week.

I guess it will ultimately come down to game day status for Hopkins now. Missing practice again today compounds my worries about him this week. But if he plays I probably have to start him.

    Thanks for your help here.

I can't imagine a reason that anyone would bench Hopkins right now.  He had a great game week one against Jacksonville.

I guess I'm letting another sites projections coupled with all of the negatives against Hopkins sway me. The toe issue and 3rd string QB facing the Jags defense has me indecisive.
