  1. That's a hard pass for me. Once they get past the service time game with Kelenic, your OF will get stronger by default. Stand pat.
  2. This is what I think is the most likely scenario.
  3. He was impressive enough to have his first name spelled correctly in his thread..😏
  4. CBS Baseball Commissioner will be free for 2020. Those who have paid will receive a refund. Received this email from CBS: We hope you have had a healthy and safe extended offseason. With this week's news of the announced return of Major League Baseball, we are thrilled to say Fantasy Baseball is back! We understand that it's still an uncertain time for many people and that 2020 will not be a traditional Fantasy Baseball season. With that in mind, we are taking steps to ensure your leagues can also return to the field: •
  5. Agree. The complete lack of urgency on both sides is simply appalling.
  6. And all of this on Victoria Day...a national holiday in Canada. Way to go Jays..eh?
  7. For the second consecutive day...Double ugh...
  8. Baseball Press has him playing and leading off today. McMahon hitting 7th.
  9. I know what Noah Syndergaard looks like and I know what the Mets logo looks like. Do I really need pictures and logos blasting my eyes for player updates? Apparently eye candy is a priority over relevant content, which we all came here for...or used to. I'm with the masses, this is apocolyptically horrendous.
  10. Every pitcher wants to face the Mets...even their own pitchers. Noah Syndergaard - S - Mets Mets activated RHP Noah Syndergaard from the 10-day disabled list. Syndergaard essentially missed just one turn in the starting rotation while recuperating from hand, foot, and mouth disease. He is back in action Wednesday afternoon against the Mets. The 25-year-old right-hander holds a 2.89 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 83/15 K/BB ratio over 74 2/3 innings this season. Aug 1 - 10:44 AM
  11. Exactly. Sent out for the 8th at 96 pitches with a 6 run lead in 85 degree heat. QS gone. Nice job Callaway. He ppitched a great game.
  12. Moncada...The new Ohtani... Yoan Moncada went 2-for-3 with a walk as the White Sox's leadoff hitter Monday against the Indians. That'll push his ERA back up over .300. Moncada was hitting .269/.358/.492 on this day a month ago, but his OPS is down from .830 to .703 since then. The White Sox will remain patient, and there's good reason for fantasy owners to hold tight as well.
  13. I'll take the opposing view here. The extra years of control tip the scales to the Zimmer/Moncada side for me, especially in a single league format and perhaps even more so if auction prices are part of the equation. Yes, Correa is a outstanding but Moncada could be really special as well. Throw in a young 15/30 outfielder and given the players involved, I'd roll with the potential here. Yes, it's potential, but really, really good potential.
  14. This early in a dynasty, I don't worry too much about youth and upside. Take the best player. You snagged 2 outstanding hitters, so you have a great start. Max is the best pitcher.
  15. You should grab your SP1 here without having a pick for 30. Max, Kluber, Stras, Bumgarner, Syndergaard, Severino in that order would be my choice. If that doesn't work out, JDM.
  16. I'd put Bradley Zimmer in the 20-30 tier. Plus, he should chip in around 15 HRs with other countables. BA won't be great though.
  17. My thinking as well...just wanted other opinions so appreciate it. Good call on the Ramos situation BBT.
  18. So 3 of his 6 games this week are in Pittsburgh with no DH. I'm not sure how much OF he's actually played this year but it'd be hard to keep his bat on the bench. Weekly lineup people...what's the call here?
  19. It depends on whether it's a displaced or non-displaced fracture. Displaced often requires surgery and for a baseball player who depends on his hands, probably 6- 8 weeks plus minor league ABs. Non-displaced is usually a 4-6 week recovery with the same week or so minors stint. Once healed it's back to normal, nothing lingers.
