newsworthy lol yes its still a big deal but its getting pretty routine

lol, I was just playfully teasing. I totally get it. The no hitter record is gonna be broken this year. 7 is the record for a regular season and we're already at 6 and it's not counting bumgarner's.

    What scared you off?

It's a weekly week, was trying to squeeze as many of the two starters as I could. There wasn't anything else besides that. I am not that upset cause this likely won't decided if I win or lose, but never started a guy that threw a no hitter before.

I wouldn’t be surprised if The Mess AAA lineup chases Charlie Morton.

    Charlie Morton may be toast.

Starting off good, but let me jinx that....

Morton is en fuego right now

Started today for the St Lucie Mets (Low A) - 4 innings, 5 Ks, 1 hit, 0 BBs, 44 pitches

Mets say the plan is for him to stay at St Lucie till the end of the month so maybe 2 more starts? Hopefully if he pitches well next time out they can move him up to AA/AAA so he can face some real hitters.

I read a blurb saying 3-4 more, but yeah we're gonna be seeing him real soon again in the majors

Corbin getting just terrible luck...WTF..this is such BS.  That ball was right in Turner's glove.

I believe there was also a ball that was clearly foul and called fair to put a base runner on. He gets a mulligan on this start. also, terrible weather conditions.

So Corey Seager breaks his hand and gets a 4 week timetable, but Trout gets a minor calf strain doing nothing and gets a 8 week timetable 😂😂🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Angels continue to be a terrible team no matter how much talent they got just sad.

Calf injuries are no joke. I don't know how many times we've seen baseball players suffer a calf injury and it turns into a lost season for them. Josh Donaldson has lost a lot of time the past few years due to calf injuries.

which means either they massage it out and he plays tommarow or he is out for 10 days to the IL. I'll compromise and take he sits out 3 days and plays the weekend healthy and hits a few bombs

Calf injuries are pretty tricky, he could be out for a while.
