As a Yankees fan I'm not crazy about them trading for Story.   The Coors factor, the cost, and the overall fit/need doesn't seem ideal.  Sure he would be an improvement over Torres in the field and at the plate (we think), but the Yanks are already too weighted in the lineup to the right side, and Story won't be the same outside of Coors.   His home road split are pretty disparate.  He has a .985 OPS at home and a .762 OPS on the road.  Most players tend to hit better at home versus the road, but these splits are more concerning because of what the history is with Coors and those who play there.

I don't buy the home/away split with rockies hitters if they move to another team. I think he would play just fine away from coors. There is the Coors hangover effect that they get so used to playing in Denver. Yankee Stadium is basically built like a little league park, he would do great hitter there.

Is this guy the ultimate buy low in Dynasty leagues? Feels like someone who no one wants that you can get for a real fraction of the price.

There are rumors that the Yanks might try to trade for Story, which would move Torres to 2nd. I think that would improve his offense as he doesn't have to worry about playing Short anymore... possibly.

Nope, could be Garry Sanchez jr, could be good, hard to tell

Boone said he can return very soon from his flu, some say a week, anyone have a grasp on when or an estimate?

He didn't have the flu, he tested positive for covid and is asymptomatic, and they said there is a possibility he could return this weekend if he has two negative tests in a row. He already had covid and was vaccinated and was one of the breakthrough cases on the yanks.

Manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Bellinger (lower leg) could go on a minor-league rehab assignment next week, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Comments from the skipper earlier in the week made it seem as though Bellinger was a ways off, with Roberts noting that the 25-year-old was only running at 60 percent. However, it now sounds like Bellinger is on the verge of playing in live games, which puts a return to the big club before the end of May on the table.

Might be the spark that Dodgers and fantasy teams need atm.

No word on his velocity in the games so far. Hopefully he publicly pitches in the minors so we can get a look before activating but I doubt it.

He definitely doesn’t throw as hard anymore, if he is sitting 93-94, that will work

He's turned it around somewhat but I'm finding it difficult to roster him at this point. He isn't really striking out anyone and his stuff honestly just looks whatever to me. I think if you need other players, it would be wise to move on from Corbin. For me, it's more name value that's keeping him around. Just the hope that he can put up those numbers he did a few years ago...but I'm just not seeing it.

Anyone else care to rebuddle? Should I hold?

Not here to refute, but I let him go weeks ago and no one in my league has picked him up since. The talk of his velocity being up is great and dandy, but we're still not seeing it being translated to stats that are useful to fantasy owners yet. He's still a guy I think you can have on your watch list and pounce if you feel things are actually turning around cause most people have likely forgotten about him now.

Seems like he put on too much muscle for his frame to me. He is a really wiry guy but looked like he added a ton of muscle.

Added muscle shouldn’t give you back pain, should of been the opposite effect to have more support
