How is everyone feeling about Urquidy today?
-
He’s not an ace but he isn’t on a waiver wire unless you’re in a 6 team league.
-
Acuña still on the bench!
-
He’s going to have to learn to leave the high stuff alone! He got lucky with a bloop S ingle off of one last night and then struck out on one that he couldn’t check his swing on. Pitchers will and probably already have picked up on that! I’m excited to see what the young man can do though!
-
In his 34 innings as a starter he K’d 36. I like Urquidy but he is real tough to get a read on yet. SP Streamers scouting report on him is about as good as your gonna get until we get to see a larger sample.
-
He has had less than 400 PA’s against lefties in his career. I disagree that that is plenty of chances.

Another one that’s not in the CBS system.

You’re correct. It’s through CBS and they are sometimes really late getting guys in the system. I’m assuming he was entered after our waiver wire was closed last season.
