  1. Absolutely. Connor has floundered this year and I think he’s more of a mid-tier RB2 rest of the way. As he is your flex I think it’s a fantastic move to get a WR1 in return. Since you’re 4-0 you can wait for his return. I would try and upgrade your third RB after this trade if you can, but either way make the move.

  2. 12 team PPR league

One team is 0-4 and desperate for wins. Another team is 2-2 and the trade is: Davtante Adams and Melvin Gordon for Kamara and Diggs. The team that is 0-4 would receive Kamara and Diggs and the team that is 2-2 would receive Adams and Melvin Gordon

The way I see it he can stash Adams and wait for Melvin to get full reps. Diggs is also on his bench.

    Who wins the trade?

  4. I am the co-commissioner of a second year dynasty league (hosted on Fantrax). We are a H2H points format with 12 teams. We have just one team left to fill out before starting our second season.

The buy-in is $50 per season, but we ask for a $50 deposit on the following season. The previous owner has the deposit down for 2019, so a team that would inherit the team will be responsible for 2019 and 2020 upfront. We collect the money on Fantrax Treasurer.

Highlights of the roster: Jose Altuve, Anthony Rizzo, Whit Merrifield, Christian Yelich, Marcell Ozuna, Justin Smoak, Amed Rosario, Wil Myers, Madison Bumgarner, Justin Verlander, Cole Hamels, Aroldis Chapman. This was a playoff team last season, and has a good chance to make another run this year.

Another note. 30 man major league rosters, with 20 man minor league rosters.

PM me or post in this thread if you are interested or would like to hear more.

I'd do it. I like JoRam more than Arenado and I don't think losing Knebel is that big of a deal in a points league.

I do like the JoRam side as well, but losing Knebel can be big in a points league, depending on scoring. If there is a weekly SP max, closers give you quite a bit of points without having to burn of your starts for the week. Regardless, I would make this deal.

  6. 5 hours ago, I like baseball said:

Without knowing how your staff looks like or who your current 3rd baseman is, take Severino.

If this was a keep forever or if there was an option to re-new Vladdy's contract, I would easily pick Jr.  It's not.  Enjoy Severino's prime years.  As great of a prospect Jr is, I rather have Severino at 24-27 then Vladdy at 19-22.  The fact that they have to be thrown back into the draft in 3 years is the main sticking point here.

Took the words out of my mouth.

  7. I don't think I would. Everyone on your roster is either giving you production, or has nice upside themselves. I think Vlad could have a big impact immediately, but we don't know when that is going to be, and there is no guarantee of that out of the gate, obviously. Being a roto league in particular, I think it would be detrimental. If it had been a head to head league and wanted to lock down big upside for the late season and playoffs I'd be more on board with it. However, if you can really just move a could guys to bolster another spot of your roster I would feel more comfortable making the move.

  8. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable expectation. I would be a little more conservative in the games played at 105 or so, and project the home runs to be around 18 with a .240 BA, which is still more than serviceable as an AL only catcher. If you wait on catcher in a deeper mixed league he is a nice target also.

  9. Brand new 12 team dynasty points league, hosted on Fantrax. $50 buy in, collected through Fantrax Treasurer. Collecting 2 years' dues before the draft.

We are trying to get the draft started either Sunday or Monday, so let's fill this league! Looking for serious and dedicated owners who will check their lineups regularly, respond to trade offers and show general competitiveness.

Slow draft will begin when we have a full and paid league. Snake draft, with positions randomized 1 hour before the draft. Each team will have 3 hours to make their pick (though hopefully most will be quicker). Clock will be frozen from 12am-8am EST, but picks can still be made.

Rosters will have 30 major leaguers and 20 prospects. 14 hitters will be started (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, 5 OF, 2 Util) and 9 pitchers. There are 5 DL spots.

    Yearly Payouts:

    1st: $400
    2nd: $150
    3rd: $50

  10. It has to be Strasburg and Buehler by a wide margin. Sure, both have their injury history, but Strasburg is a proven top 10 pitcher. He’s still just 29. And Buehler has a very high ceiling.

Weaver is a very promising young pitcher. Puk is a great prospect with pedigree and promise. But there is just too much variance on that side. Weaver has only shown it in the majors for a third of a season. You hope he turns into what Strasburg is.

There’s always the chance Weaver is this year’s Severino, Strasburg gets hurt and the Weaver side wins. That’s just the nature of the game. But the wise play here is going with the bird in the hand over the bird in the bush.
