  1. It's interesting to see folks' opinion on this one.....seems like the 1st 5 responses were pretty much in agreement that I was in the wrong and that the commish did the right thing. You've heard time and time again that the only rule is no collusion.....if there is a bad trade w/out collusion you don't veto, etc. Simply rethink inviting members back for the next season. In this particular case, obviously I didn't hack the system....simply took advantage of a platform exploit. Unable to make any roster changes so it really was a questionable strategy....but should have been my choice
  2. My text to the league was the following: "Modified my lineup w/out saying a word? Have fun setting it the rest of the season". Here was his response: "I kicked Taysom Hill out of your lineup. Yup, I did it. We don't start 2 QBs in our league. #ESPN cheat code not welcomed. Everyone here was against it". What is interesting is that I've had half the league disagree and say they were against him altering anybody's lineup. I removed league manager duties for my team....which essentially kicked me out. I'm still on the fence about paying the dues, but I figure I most likel
  3. Ehh.....I just don't think there is ever a time when a commissioner should be adjusting somebody's lineup. DJ Chark was in my WR spot (inactive due to injury) and Ridley was on the bench.....I decided to go with Hill in the TE slot regardless which prevented me from making any roster moves all week. He removed Hill this morning and didn't tell me about it. I obviously didn't check my lineup till after the morning games started.... In the same league, this commissioner has allowed another player to go weeks w/out setting his lineup and then allows him to go all out against certain opp
  4. My league's commissioner modified my lineup this morning w/out saying a word to me. He removed Taysom Hill from the TE position. I quit the league on the spot....and don't plan on paying my dues.
  5. What is funny to me is that the ACTUAL NFL teams literally do every thing they can to get an advantage.....pushing the limits along the way. Whether it is having linemen become eligible receivers w/out the defense knowing it or using electronic means to learn about the opposition, they do it time and time again! Just look at the Antonio Brown and Kareem Hunts.....the NFL doesn't subscribe to the idea of "being a gentlemen". It's about winning....and nothing else. Hilarious that some expect fantasy players to have some sort of higher standards or moral compass then the professional sports
  6. In my competitive league.....one of the players just stopped setting their lineup. Been mailing it in for weeks. He happens to be playing me this week and lo and behold makes sure to swap Engram out last night for Higbee. I lost by a little over 1 point when Godwin caught that final pass. Definitely have the vibe of collusion - but can't really prove it. He won't be back in the league next year....I'm in an dogfight now for the playoffs. One of those losses where you feel like going on tilt and just benching all your players here on out and giving a middle finger to the commish.
  7. I just don't get all the protest talk or folks thinking it is cheating.... As FF players we do everything we can to tilt the odds in our favor. What if there were league mates that didn't know about rotoworld and didn't have up to the minute breaking news on players? Would that be cheating? What if there were players who had night jobs that could scour the free agent pool once waivers cleared Wednesday morning.....is that cheating? Obviously the answer to both is no....it's called exploiting the game w/in the current rules and structure of the league. This is absolutely no diffe
  8. You guys thought Brady was reviewing plays with the Microsoft Surface on the sideline....think again.
  9. The no brainer move is 4 straight runs....that is just plain ******** stupid. Clearly some ego involved now in the play calling.
  10. What is the record for biggest win differential? We need something to root for!
  11. As a Fournette owner that actually started him this week.....I find the current results immensely satisfying. Way to go Arians! Brilliant, you f--- wad!
  12. Have the following WRs: Ridley, Woods, Chark, and Crowder. Around Wed, I'm thinking I don't even have bodies to start w/ Woods on bye and Ridley/Crowder banged up. I make a trade for DJ Moore and sit........Chark!!!! I'm thinking with an unknown QB it's a no brainer. Going to lose. I can handle Moore not going off, but 3 targets? WTF????
  13. Why was DJ so hyped? Is he faster/more athletic than the other guys getting 4 times the amount of targets? Is it really as simple as "best corner on DJ = look elsewhere"? Or is he just not that much better than the other options?
  14. Fantasy year from hell continues Just.....my god
  15. LOL @ Bridgewater checking down over and over Guy is consistent
