  1. Castillo/Gausman start did not turn out the way I had hoped....
  2. Kyle Lewis (knee) got four at-bats at the Mariners' alternate site on Monday. Lewis was forced to begin the season on the injured list due to a bone bruise in his right knee, but the Mariners are pleased with his progress. They remain hopeful he'll be activated during the team's upcoming homestand, which begins this Friday.
  3. Nice outing but pulled after 4ip (71 pitches). Seems like wins will be tough to come by If they are capping him at 80 pitches per game.
  4. Dunning trying to keep pace with Glasnow.
  5. unless theres an injury. the decrease in velocity is a little concerning...
  6. fwiw. Bill Plunkett ✔@billplunkettocr #Dodgers list Trevor Bauer (Tues), Dustin May (Wed) and Julio Urias (Thur) as starters for home series v Rockies. That sets up Walker Buehler (on extra rest Friday), Clayton Kershaw (on extra rest Saturday) and Trevor Bauer (Sunday) for next weekend's series in San Diego 140 10:42 AM - 11 Apr 2021
  7. Haha....my bad. Was meant for the Dustin May threads. Apologies....
  8. Sign of life for us Holland truthers? Royals' Jesse Hahn: Placed on 10-day injured list (15 mins ago) Hahn was placed on the 10-day injured list due to right shoulder impingement syndrome Monday. Hahn took blown saves in each of his past two relief appearances, but some of his struggles could have been attributed to his shoulder issue. The right-hander will be eligible to return from the injured list April 22, although it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to do so. Right-hander Jake Newberry was recalled from the Royals' alternate site to serve as bullp
  9. Didn’t see a thread for him. Looks good after a couple of starts. Ran out of gas against Wash but pitched well enough to hang on to the W. Do we know if his next start is home against Col or at SD?
  10. Do we know when his next start is yet?
  11. Last night was the Ian Kennedy I remember. Rangers' Ian Kennedy: Velo down Sunday (4 hrs ago) Kennedy's velocity was down during Sunday's loss to the Padres, Sam Blum of the Dallas Morning News reports. Kennedy had been hitting 95 mph during previous outings but was at 92 on Sunday, when the Padres reached him for three hits, including a home run. Despite Kennedy's drop in velocity, manager Chris Woodward said there was nothing wrong with the pitcher, who is serving as the Rangers' closer.
  12. How we feeling about Dane this week? Two starts with decent matchups? Can he throw more than 5ip?
