  1. Thanks for your follow up comments. Very much appreciated. Yeah Rendon/Albies are two guys I have thought about at that stage.
  2. Because I'm trying to narrow down several options and want to solicit the community for their thoughts to compliment my research. It's not the only thing I'm doing to prepare.
  3. Yeah, it is always a challenge in this league. However, this thread is more focused on a specific scenario assuming I do get that slot, which will compliment my pre-draft research. If you have any suggestions on who you would choose, and the reasons why? Thanks.
  4. Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I know the odds are slim I get that slot (or anywhere around the turn), but with my prep and some mocks so far, this is the position I'm having the most difficulty deciding what I want to do. I appreciate you playing along and providing your suggestions if you were in this position. With yours and others' suggestions and reasons, it might help guide me into how I will rank players around that stage of the draft.
  5. Hi all, These are the settings: Yahoo, One year, Roto, 20 teams, Daily lineups, Max games/innings = 162/1250, No max moves C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3OF, Util, 2SP, 2RP, 3P, 5BN, 3IL, 1NA R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS / W, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP (6 x 6) We won't know the draft order until 30 minutes before the draft so I'm doing prep based on different positions. If I were to get the turn (20/21), I'm trying to decide who I should target, knowing that my next picks are 60/61. Assume the following have already been taken: Hitters (14): Acuna, Betts, Tatis, Soto, Trout, Turner, R
  6. Is it just me or did they force the new format and remove the option to change the theme ourselves? It used to have the option to change the theme at the bottom next to Contact Us and that's been removed.
  7. Hi all, For those of you who play in deeper leagues (roto), how are you preparing your SP strategy for the draft, considering the past shortened season? For context, these are my league details: It's a Yahoo 20 team, 6 x 6 Redraft Roto. Pitching: W, K, SV, HLD, ERA, WHIP; Hitting: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS. Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3OF, Util, 2SP, 2RP, 3P, 5 Bench. Are you changing your SP strategy at all given the short season and whether you think the starting pitching landscape will change at all e.g. workhorses, openers etc.? For example, do you value the perceived
  8. Fair points. I guess my main reason for the question was how well he performed with the role late last season, so wondered specifically about Soria's impact. Obviously, there's never any guarantees so we'll get a better idea closer to the season.
  9. Do you think he has a better chance than Crichton?
  10. Unfortunately it duplicates so I would still have to go back and forth and cross off what's been covered already. I have all the players' eligible positions on my list already so just trying to decide on which one to pick so I can group them. Rankings etc. will come later. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
  11. Thanks. Though that's quite a bit of time to search one by one. But I just thought of checking the depth charts on RosterResource, which is still manual but should be a bit quicker going team by team. Or I suppose if a site did their rankings by position and didn't duplicate then I could use that as another option.
  12. Not sure if this is the best place to ask but it's related. As mentioned Yahoo is keeping all previous eligibility, which means there are a ton of players with multiple positions. As I'm working on my preparations for the season, I will be trying to group players by position. However, it's not easy to decide how to group those with multiple positions, so maybe it would help to know the player's primary position (or default as currently known). Is there somewhere that I can find this information? It doesn't have to be perfect, as it simply would allow me to group the players more easily.
  13. Thanks for your feedback. Anyone else want to chime in? Does my opponent starting L. Jackson have any influence on whether or not I start Brown?
  14. Robert Woods at Mia Marquise Brown vs Pit AJ Green vs Ten Brandon Aiyuk at Sea
  15. Hey all, I would appreciate some advice please. 0.5 PPR, the rest I think is standard scoring. 2WR and 1 Flex spot. Deciding between 4 WR for those 3 slots this weekend. Robert Woods (pretty much steady production this season other than last week) Marquise Brown (a bit inconsistent but, if it matters, my opponent has Lamar Jackson) AJ Green (solid the last couple weeks - on the rise?) Brandon Aiyuk (of note - I am starting Hasty due to byes/injuries so not sure of the double SF play) What say you? Please and thanks.
