  1. The thing that irks me most about TG, is that he seems totally disinterested.  Dude never makes a move.  Never struggles or fights for extra yards.  Never shows any sort of emotion.  Just seems to be going through the motions.  Doing the bare minimum.  It's hard to believe I'm watching the same guy from 2015.  Yet, most still have him ranked top ten.   As an owner the last two years, he disgusts me.  He's not in my top 20.  I'd rather waste the pick, on someone that actually, appears to give a chit/exert some effort.

He's a guy to watch, huge fan of his.  He has great size at 6'4" 221 lbs.  He ran a 4.53 40 but got hurt during the run.  Not sure at what part of the run he got hurt on but it wouldn't surprise me if his true 40 time was a little faster than that.  He definitely has the built to be a great receiver in the league.

He had an amazing knack for getting open in college.  He only had 81 catches in his 3 years playing receiver but he played in an offense that really spread the ball around.  He also missed 7 games last year due to a broken collarbone.  He averaged an amazing 20.6 YPC and scored touchdowns on 20 of his 81 catches.  He isn't really a guy that's deep ball or bust, it was just the best role for him in the offense UNC ran.  Ryan Switzer was a reception monster and Bug Howard was the big bodied receiver they went to in the red zone.

One thing that gives him a chance to get in games is he will most likely dress for most games.  He's a monster on special teams and that's what earned him his scholarship in college.  He was only a walk-on and by the end of his freshman year he was a captain on special teams.  If one of the starters gets hurt he will be there dressed to step in.  With Alshon Jeffrey playing in front of him an injury is definitely a possibility.

He's a guy his teammates love too.  When he got injured his senior year Bug Howard wore Mack's number the next game to honor him.

As a huge UNC fan, I can say....... very well stated.  Big fan of Mack.  And yes, when healthy, he runs a sub 4.5 40.

Looks like he may have avoided a serious injury. From my observation it looks like he might just hit the 7 day concussion DL and miss a start..

    Agreed.

Being he only threw 25 pitches, maybe he can come back and start Sunday.

Ok, so I'm kidding.  Maybe.  I really need K's, though.

  4. As a Rangers fan (and of Darvish, as well), I really do hope they are sellers.  The team is incredibly flawed.   Even if they were somehow to secure a WC, it would most likely be one and done.  Trade Darvish, Hamels, Lucroy, and whoever else can bring them something in return.  Watching this team on a nightly basis, has become borderline excruciating.

  5. Is it just me, or does Bregman resemble a squat in a bush?  He just looks so troll-like.  Short torso?  Short legs?  I really can't tell.  It wouldn't bother me nearly as much, if he was producing.  However, being he's sucked out loud, he's bringing out my critical side.

Here's the thing why would they give up a year of control to call him up a month before super 2?

Because it's mid May, and if Cabrera is out a while, they'd be playing Reyes every day as SS.

Soooooo were picking this guy up now and asking questions later right?

I did, this morning.  Even the Mets, can only screw this up for so long.  Right?

but its the mets and terry collins they would rather play a man down all week then let cabrera go out and play a couple games to the point its a season ending injury. so they can call up some bum to sit on the bench while reyes plays ss. the mets organization would rather do everything a** backwards than do something that makes sense

This is correct.  I live in NY, but not a Mets fan.  Being I listen to sports talk radio, they still manage to frustrate the chit out of me.  If there's a way to handle a situation poorly, the Met's organization will find it.  Their front office, could fark up a peanut butter & jelly sandwich.
