Zach Collins 2018-2019 Fantasy Outlook
Meadowlark replied to jaystaypaid1's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
Nurk's fouls were a factor, but only so far. He finished with four fouls, while Collins ended with five. That means that at some point Collins had as many fouls as or more fouls than Nurkic, and Stotts decided to play Zach over Nurk anyway. I think that Collins's superb effort is what kept him on the court last night. Two of his blocks were legit chase-downs where it would have been easy to give up on the play, and he showed Stotts that he deserves opportunities. That said, he's probably going to be up and down this season. -
Enes Kanter. Bizarre tidbit, according to basketball-reference's unofficial play-by-play stats, Bamba played 100% of his minutes last game at point guard. We should petition Yahoo for position eligibility.

Zach Collins 2018-2019 Fantasy Outlook
Meadowlark replied to jaystaypaid1's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
6 points, 6 rebs, 2 asts, a game-high +26, and . . . 6 blocks in the Blazers win. A promising start to the season. -
Boban Marjanovic 2018-2019 Season Outlook

John Wick, actually. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9912877/ -
Patrick Beverley 2018-2019 Season Outlook
Meadowlark replied to heyitsmattdelly's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
Lots of overreactions in here. It was a bad shooting night, and he got into foul trouble (on a couple of bogus calls), so this wasn't really a good indicator of who he is going to be this season. -
Ben Simmons 2018-2019 Season Outlook
Meadowlark replied to chimera's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
1/1230th of the way through the NBA season, he's the best player we've seen so far. -
Otto Porter 2018-2019 Season outlook
Meadowlark replied to Jake the snake's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
Yes. Porter's versatility makes him a fit for any team, and we was top 40 in any build you care to name last season. You got a third- or even second-rounder at the end of the sixth round. -
Preseason averages: 11.5 points, 6.25 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.75 steals, 1.25 blocks, 2 TOs, 1.25 threes, 58.6% from the field on 7.25 attemps, 70% from the line on 2.5 attempts. Granted it's preseason, but that's around sixth- or seventh-round value.

Bold Predictions for the 2018-2019 Season
Meadowlark replied to jay14bay's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
You jinxed the whole damn team, man. Counter-prediction: Every Spur who touches the ball will suffer an injury and miss at least six weeks. -
Derrick White 2018-2019 Season Outlook
Meadowlark replied to iowncrazyhair's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
Pau Gasol. Neither Mills nor Forbes is a facilitator, so they'll have to run things through Gasol a large portion of the time. He should be a serious triple-double threat for the first six weeks of the season. -
Otto Porter 2018-2019 Season outlook
Meadowlark replied to Jake the snake's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
I got him for Rubio and a future draft pick. I'm happy. I consider Porter a top-15 asset in dynasty, and in his age-25 season this year, he should start to show us what his best game looks like. -
Nerlens Noel 2018-19 Season Outlook
Meadowlark replied to Gorgeous George's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
Philly tried to play him at PF next to Jahlil Okafor. It did not go well. -
Robert Covington 2018-2019 Season Outlook
Meadowlark replied to Saucy's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
He would be a first-rounder with that kind of usage, actually. In a team context, a further 10.45 attempts at 41.3% shooting does not have a lot of weight, being worth about -5.1 point-equivalents. Assuming his percentage and three-pointer rate remained the same, doubling his attempts would add 12.6 points and 2.5 threes (22.5 point-equivalents). He would be somewhere around the level of Damian Lillard and Chris Paul, in terms of total impact. -
Patrick Beverley 2018-2019 Season Outlook
Meadowlark replied to heyitsmattdelly's topic in Fantasy Basketball Talk
I like Beverley a lot, too, but it's a big exaggeration to suggest that he can block at the same rate as RoCo. The latter had twice as many blocks per game last season.
