  1. Just won my 12man .5ppr league with this team:

    QB: Winston

    RB: CMC

    RB: Aaron Jones

    WR: Evans

    WR: Calvin Ridley

    Flex: Ekeler

    TE: Gesicki

    DST: Stream

This is probably the best team I've drafted. Looking back at the draft, I managed to pick up the best player that was available at the time (besides getting Lamar, Pats D, and maybe a TE obviously). I went 11-2 with 10 straight wins at one point. The 2 losses I had was against the same person for some reason and happened to be when CMC had his 2 lowest scores of the season.

CMC, AJones, Evans, and Ekeler pretty much carried my team the whole season. Ridley had an good season imo, good enough for my wr2. Having 3 of the top 5 RBs and Evans being 3rd overall scoring WR before injury helped a lot. With Evans and Ridley injured in week 14, I was stuck with Scary Terry, Darius Slayton, and Justin Watson. Having injuries late in the season was hard to overcome as most are already rostered. Having low faab, I was blocked in both weeks 15 and 16 by my opponents in picking up decent waiver wire WRs. Luckily my RBs (and Gesicki this week) continued to carry me to a championship.

  2. Hell yes, my team just scored the highest points in both week 14 and 15. My team is blowing up just in time for playoffs.

  3. Just wanted to share my story:

This season I went 11-2 in my 12man .5ppr, first place with most points scored. I did not have any injuries even to my bench players all year. Week 14 on my bye week comes and I score the highest for the week and was even the league high for the season at 173 points. At 173 points, my team should be set for the rest of playoffs right?

Well even though I scored so much last week, I lose my WR1/WR2 in Evans and Ridley for the rest of the season. My QB Winston is throwing tennis balls today. I had Guice and Marvin Jones on my bench who are also both on IR. I stashed Njoku weeks ago for his week 15 matchup against Arizona but he too is dealing with a knee injury. Even Mattison who I have been holding since early in the season suddenly misses practice with an ankle injury. I just picked up Dede Westbrook and now he's nursing a shoulder injury.

I still may have a chance to win but man, I truly think my luck has run out. Its pretty crazy going from no injuries all season to so many in just one week. Thank you for reading my vent. I really needed to share that lol.

Seeing him screw up that route and the look on Tom's face.

Exact same look I have every week I start him.

He has to be benched at this point, especially in PPR. Not saying he wont get 3 TD's and 20 points next week but by now I think we all know what we got and it aint good.

If you are unsure, just remember they tried running James White on the GL. Folks like to compare him to Blount but at least he got all the inside the 5 yard line carries no matter who else was healthy. Its easier to pick the top kicker each week then to guess Sony's usage.

I guarantee he doesnt get any yardage next week.

  5. Jimmy G has always been pretty good. The issue withe 49ers was that they never had any receivers to throw to besides Kittle. Hell, I was hoping they would get Dez last year or AB this year. When they played @KC last year, they were down early but they were actually making a nice comeback. Unfortunately, that was the game where he got injured. After that, they could barely win any games without him.

The niners may still be a run first team but with the addition Sanders, its going to open up more looks for Kittle and the other receivers. I drafted him last year but not this year since they didnt really pick up any good receivers. Looking at their upcoming schedule, they're going to be playing a lot of teams where they may need to throw. It is risky though since their run game and defense are pretty good so they may just grind it out.
