  1. Yeah I'm not saying jump all over him or that Osuna is toast, but I was thinking that with this report the other day: https://twitter.com/gregorMLB/status/906659474559160320 Re Osuna's sore neck and the past two less than stellar games by Osuan, it's just a gamble in case you need saves.
  2. Dominic Leone just got the save for the Blue Jays. Looked real filthy at times.
  3. I know. lol. I gotta dream a little before I start my yardwork. #guiltyascharged
  4. The Bears are currently 200/1 odds to win the SuperBowl. Popping down $10 or $20 bucks on this seems a way better gamble than buying a SuperLotto ticket. Having two great RBs is going to make them a tough matchup every week.
  5. Durham up 2-0 in the series so far. Potential series deciding game tomorrow.
  6. Just looked at the Atlanta weather radar, there's no way that game is being played right?
  7. I'm also wondering how his bad legs were impacting him at the plate and on the basepaths. Hoping they are waiting until he's 100% so we can see what he is capable of.
  8. Listening to the game today on the radio. Two items of note. 1. Both of the announcers were slightly alarmed at the decrease in velocity for Parker today. They both thought it was probably due to fatigue and being late in the season, but you never know. His FB was so much slower he was really leaning on his splitter. 2. One of the announcers saw Bud Norris pitching in the bullpen and said he looks much better. If you have a spot to burn and are looking to protect your Blake Parker investment, I'd snag either Bud Norris OR Yusmeiro Petit, in that order. Not saying they
  9. 99% of you won't care about this, and rightly so, but he's due back soon.
  10. Just saw confirmation of what I guessed at in the above post: "Pirates Prospects reports. "I don't anticipate us making any callups at all until the playoff season are over for Altoona and Indy," manager Clint Hurdle said. "We, as an organization, believe there's gainful experience for the guys that are down there." via CBS Sports
  11. I just want to see him pitch 1 or 2 times in the bigs to clarify where he should be ranked in next year's draft. This is from their AAA affiliate's site August 30th: "The Tribe clinched the International League West Division title last night, which means postseason baseball will return to downtown Indy for the fourth time in the last six seasons. The Indians host Game 3 of their first round series against the Durham Bulls on Friday, September 8. If necessary, the Indians also host Games 4 and 5 on Saturday, September 9 at 7:05
  12. I was not home tonight to watch the Padres Cardinals game. Anyone want to give their thoughts on the Cardinals situation besides what I can see in the boxscore, cause it looks like 9 different types of crazy.
  13. As far as KC goes- Maurer might be the guy, but I'd pick up Minor and Buchter, before I picked up Alexander. If you like loading up your roster with long shots for closer cause life is an adventure.
  14. LAA announcers are saying Petit is warming up for the 8th and either predict Petit goes two innings or Middleton will close the game tonight.
  15. According to the LAA announcers the other day, Mike doesn't want to use Parker as his closer, even though he's the best bullpen arm, because Parker doesn't have a "closer's mentality." Honest to gosh. I'm not making that up.
