  1. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't view CEH as anywhere near the same league as Swift, Taylor, Akers, and Dobbins. CEH may very well have a good career in the NFL, but keep in mind that the dude played in the best offense in college football history. Some of his production needs to be taken with a grain of salt IMO.

  2. I don't think he'll be a breakout player in season long, but Justin Jackson will be a bye week fill in that will win people a few weeks this year. He's explosive and more importantly it sounds like the Chargers staff really likes him. Likely more of a best ball play in 2020 though.

  3. I feel like this dude is flying under the radar big time. Fournette played in 15 games last year, but that's a rarity. Seems like a good bet to miss time this year. In Armstead's 1 start last year he caught 5 passes for 52 yards and a TD. Kid is talented and a good receiver so he has 3 down potential in the event Fournette gets hurt. Probably my favorite backup at RB.

There isn't a Saquon-level talent coming this year, but this is actually one of the deepest RB classes in years. It wouldn't surprise me if there were 5 starting RB's out of this class 2-3 years from now.

Agree. Swift (UGA), Akers (FSU), Dobbins (OSU), and Taylor (Wisconsin) are all legit.

  5. 12 team, full point PPR. Start 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE. I had 4th pick and reached for Dalvin Cook. Zeke scares me and I think Cook has the most upside of the other backs.

    QB: Carson Wentz

    WR: Mike Evans

    WR: Julian Edelman

    WR: Nelson Agholor

    RB: Dalvin Cook

    RB: Damien Williams

    TE: Hunter Henry

    FLEX: Melvin Gordon (5.04)

    K: Who Cares(?)

    DEF: Who Cares(?)

    Notable bench players:

    Darwin Thompson

    Rashaad Penny

    Tre'Quan Smith

    Darrell Henderson

    Latavious Murray

Thanks in advance for the feedback, gentlemen!

  6. Early Rounds

    Davante Adams

    Nick Chubb

    Dalvin Cook

    Adam Thielen

    Mid Rounds

    Chris Godwin

    Tyler Boyd

Jarvis Landry (top 20 WR every year in PPR and still gets no love)

    Darrell Henderson

    Late Rounds

Daesean Hamilton (don't think people realize how good this kid is)

Jamison Crowder (sign me up for Adam Gase's slot WR)

    Lamar Jackson

    Devin Singletary

I agree with this post.  There are at least 2 other rb's in Philly (Howard and the rookie) that the coaching staff values a lot more for Clement to have much value this year unless there are injuries.  If he gets traded to another team where he is in at least a 50/50 timeshare then he becomes worthwhile.

I should also add the Vikings to the list of teams that could use a guy like Clement. All they have behind Cook is a rookie and Ameer Abdullah. Not exactly a stacked depth chart if Dalvin goes down.

    Love Mack this year.

Agree. What's not to love? If his ADP stays in the 3rd round he has a chance to be a league winner IMO. He could easily be a top 5 RB if he stays healthy and the Colts offense is as good as expected.

  9. I've started to look into some of these guys and obviously this will change based on landing spot, but right now Josh Jacobs, Miles Sanders, and Darrell Henderson are my favorites. I'm not sold on David Montgomery. For some reason I get a Samaje Perine feeling when I watch his highlights.

A mid-round guy that I really like is Mike Weber out of Ohio State. Kid has good size and shiftiness.

A late round guy that I think is really intriguing is Jordan Scarlett out of UF. I'm a Nole so I follow UF somewhat closely and this dude is a serious talent. He played behind some craptastic OLs early in his career and had some off the field issues but there's no denying his ability. If he lands in a good spot he could make some noise at the next level. Definitely a guy to keep your eye on.

This was a league I've been in for 4 years.

Not hating, but you guys need to add a WR spot. I actually play in an 8 team league with some of my old work friends, but we start 2 QBs, 4 WRs, 2 RBs, and 1 FLEX just to keep the teams from being overly stacked.

    WR3 is relegated to FLEX.

FLEX I have Cooks, Jones Jr, Miller, Collins, Montgomery...

There's plenty of matchup plays I could make with the type of receiving backs that I have.

People are discrediting Cooks at an absurd rate, which makes some of these "3/10 5/10" ratings funny.

Wait, you're in a 10 team PPR league that only starts 2 WRs? That is absurd. What kind of league is this? I've never played in a 10 team league where we didn't start 3 WRs.

  12. After running through a mock myself from pick 7, I think the OP's team isn't as bad as some in this thread. I still don't like his WR3 situation though. Here's what I ended up with for comparisons sake. 10 team full point PPR - 7th pick:

    QB: Andrew Luck

    WR: Odell Beckham Jr

    WR: Doug Baldwin

    WR: Golden Tate

    RB: Leonard Fournette

    RB: Rashaad Penny

    TE: Jimmy Graham

    K: Matt Prater

    DEF: LA Chargers

    Bench:

    Derrius Guice

    Ronald Jones II

    Marshawn Lynch

    Kerryon Johnson

    Marqise Lee

    Corey Clement

While I like Brees, I think that was the pick that was the undoing of this team.   And Collins.  I"m guessing those were his 5th and 6th  picks.  In 10 team, there should have been a decent WR sitting there.

I'm indifferent on Collins. He probably won't be great, but he's solid. WR3 is really going to hurt this team in PPR though. People make fun of guys like Landry and Tate, but there's something to be said for your WR3 going 6 for 70 every week. Jones Jr. is going to kill you on the weeks he doesn't catch a TD. Floor matters as much as ceiling IMO.
