Tough choice. I'd go titans and hope their defense keeps it low scoring. Lions/Vikings seems like more of potential shoot out to me.
-
I would like to see the two positions consolidated into one. If you own the DST of a team that includes the kicker. IMO trying to kick a field goal is a special teams play so why not make some crappier defenses viable by including the kicker points.

Hmmm,, methinks I might have chosen the wrong QB to trade LOL.
-
Traded my bench QB in Goff (going "ride or die" with Watson) to the Garropolo owner who wasn't carrying a second QB for Hyde. My RB situation was very shaky with Fournette, Henry, Powell and an ever changing 4th who luckily is Gio right now.

I need 9.5 points Sanu in 1 point PPR. Benched AJGs 5 points to play him. Fingers crossed.

Marquise Goodwin 2017 Season Outlook

By personal experience, both AJG and Keenan Allen had poor outings against Jacksonville. I'm looking elsewhere for championship week. -
Keenan Allen 2017 Season Outlook

You mean the buffalo defense that had been good for six weeks until the injuries started happening and they had given up tons of passing yards in the previous two games. Yep I rolled him out for that one. Did I know he was good? Yes. Did I know he had been injury prone for 3 straight years? Yes. Did I know the SD offense was stagnant for the first 2 months of the season? Also yes. -
Sterling Shepard 2017 Season Outlook

This guy. Looked like a steal off the WW a month and a half ago, fantastic opportunity to be a weekly starter. Now he's my number 5 instead of number 3. I give thanks to the fantasy gods for Goodwin. -
Keenan Allen 2017 Season Outlook

He had a 5 week stretch where he had very limited production and bad matchups to go with it. Most people knew that he would eventually feast and get his points, but not everyone had the luxury of winning with him getting 5-10 points as a WR1/2. Those of us that stuck with him are being rewarded, but he had a stretch where he was not who we hoped he would be. I held onto him mainly for his playoff matchups, hence why we're here calling him a WR1 today. He's solid now but quit acting like he's been solid all year. I had buyer's remorse in that stretch when I was alternating win -
Marquise Goodwin 2017 Season Outlook

A dream... ...come true. Not a stat line that you could count on but as a ceiling it might actually be realistic. Floor I would say would be 6 rec, 60 yds, 0 td. I hoping for better. -
Yeah WW players probably not going to have enough upside at this point unless your league is a 10 teamer or less. I'm going with Keenan Allen, Goodwin and Sanu over AJ this week. If there's a late scratch of any of these, AJ starts over Shepard though

That's not what I took away from the discussion...of course I actually read the thread.
-
I went with "start your studs" with AJ in week 9 vs Jkv and got his one catch/ end of first half ejection performance...lost by half a point to drop to 4-5 at the time. Overcame it to get to the playoffs but he is definitely not a matchup proof guy. Rhodes has shut down better (IMO) wide receivers this year.

Rule Changes in Fantasy Football.

I feel like that is minimizing skill rather than luck. Not having to choose a starting lineup takes away 80% of the difficulty of the game. I agree it minimizes both skill and (bad) luck. In fact, it takes just about all of the fun and suspense out of fantasy football IMO. I would never play in a best ball league...or in a league that allows halftime subs for that matter. -

There are leagues that are "best ball" where your best players count each week. Just go with that if you want to minimize luck.
