  1. anyone think trey burke can be a consistent provider of points or is this recent surge all smoke?
  2. If you can get paul george for those two then pull that trigger. PG is a monster this year and in regular season in general when healthy
  3. 18 Team. Auction League. 9CAT My team build is built around FG%, PTS, REB, BLKs and TO I have WCS and hes been serviceable in my build but i was wondering if ya'll think i should consider swapping him for Jarred? WCS has been starting and he's always been a high FG/REB with the potential to have stocks when given minutes and I was thinking maybe he continues in the 5 position in order to protect kristaps from banging down low. He also brings the mavs length with the WCS + Kristaps combo but i noticed that he might have a short leash minutes wise especially when he makes a mistake.
  4. What i didn't like about the above video showing the possessions is that he didn't once roll hard to the rim. Just kind of stood in place after the pick with his hands open even when he had clear path to roll hard when they doubled the ball handler. Which is odd because that to me seems like something which would have been drilled into him in college no? I havn't watched his college games but anyone know if he prefers to the pick and pop vs the pick and roll?
  5. What? It would be better in houston as i'd imagine he would be first PG behind john wall.
  6. not surprised, having to guard Jokic who is probably the craftiest center in generation. But what's good is that he was there to close out the game i believe or atleast he played some in overtime which is a good sign to me
  7. As a toronto homer and raptors fan, this is the correct answer. With his thin body he relies entirely on his reach to try to rebound but will never be able to gain box out position against majority of the NBA centers. He's quick enough and has great length that i think he would be best as a help side defender at the 4 spot as his ability to close out on a shooter at the 3point line is really good due to his length/stride. Problem with our team is that Siakiam is at the 4. Whereas i feel like Boucher should be played similar to kristaps at the 4 as he can't bang with the centers at the
  8. Has anyone been watching the games? I'm just curious if this is a case of bad team good stats or it is looking like Jeremi Grant is actually better than we thought?
  9. Read through that article posted about ayton. Tad concerned that he said hes totally okay with not getting as much touches. Great for the suns because they are playing winning basketball. Bad news for fantasy tho. Dude is being turned into deandre jordan
  10. There's rusty but he physically looks like he's having trouble moving laterally to be honest. Even his strides up and down the court look short. I'm just telling you as someone who works with bodies as a profession and watched demarcus for a long time. Demarcus was amazing beacuse of how big he is and how graceful his feet moved. He just isn't moving well from what i can see
  11. Umm... not gonna lie but he doesn't seem to move well up and down the court. His movements just aren't the graceful yet powerful DeMarcus of the past which makes me sad. John wall looks pretty good just needs to find his shot. But demarcus legit looks stiff as a board moving on the court
  12. 9 CAT. Salary Keeper league. 18 teams. Keeper tax of $10 per year kept. I have an offer for my paul george ($40) for his drummond ($41). For context, I havn't been able to make use of PG's elite ft% due to zion just destroying my teams FT% and i'm also below average in 3's. With Zion on my team, i was wondering if this makes sense in terms of just punting FT% and building around zion by trading for drummond? Thanks
  13. To be honest, ayton and wood are great at the line that i think trading for gobert is not the route you should take. I'd rather trade Capella. There's way better ways to get rebounds if you need them or if you need blocks then someone like myles turner comes to mind.
  14. Hey guys! I was wondering if ya'll think i should do this trade? I'm in a 9 cat auction league. Salary league with a keeper tax of $10 per year I'm trying to build around Zion, and my team isn't elite in 3s but zions FT attempts are trashing all the upside in FT% for my whole team that i'm wondering if i should just build around him. I've got this offer: Trade away: Paul George -$40 Receive: Deandre Ayton - $41 I think I got PG pretty low due to his performance last year in the bubble plus his general accumulation of health problems in the past. But he's so elite if heal
  15. no one is talking about how his production might slightly lower due to bobby portis taking so many shots?
  16. Not saying that the hot start isn't real. But i'm more so asking, are the cav's really going to re-sign drummond as he'll probably be asking for a big contract. Is drummond part of their future or will he likely be traded before the deadline? I can't think of another team where he would be able to keep up these types of stats except for maybe in CHA?? If he goes to a contending team, wouldn't it be likely that his production drops off as he will need to assimilate to the system rather than the system being build around him like they have in DET and CLE?
  17. For example, he moves so gracefully for a guy so big and when the ball is spoon fed to him in his spots down low he's pretty damn good. But as soon as he has the ball for more than 2 seconds the dude turns into robot like movements, you can see just how uncomfortable he is on deciding what he has to do with the ball. It's pretty weird to see, i almost wonder if the actually basketball IQ is there for him to excel offensively on his own like embiid or kat. He honestly looks like he's never had to create for himself ever.
  18. I'm curious, what do you people think his average line will end up? I watched a few games and honestly, it doesn't seem like there's a "dog" mentality to make use of his crazy gifts. He looks like someone who has cruised through basketball success due to being a freak but I just don't see him demanding the ball at all. Is he just deandre jordan prime "LITE" with better ft%, less rebounds and less blocks? Honestly curious what people think because if we are talking prospective ceiling and skill, i think wiseman has shown a higher upside in terms of fit in todays NBA with a good shooting str
  19. I have a potential trade for him in a keeper league to pair with my zion but i'm wondering how does everyone feel about his contract being up this year and him being a free agent? Should i be concerned about him being moved to another team where he won't be able to have these monster lines simply due to having better team mates/system since there are very few teams who can get him this much freedom because they are trash and he's already been on two of them (DET & CLE). Thanks for the help!
  20. Where do yall value embiid vs jokic now and in the future? Embiid is such a force but the more i look at jokic and what he does at the center position is crazy. His percentages from anywhere on the floor is legit, dude and score from anywhere and if it so happens that he cant find a high percentage shot, he's got that crazy court vision. He's also so young so he's still got many seasons to trim down the baby fat hahaha Or does embiid's physical tools truly out weigh Jokics ceiling due to the physical differences?
  21. I'm trying to figure out where Nurk lands in terms of this year compared to someone like Kanter. I havn't watched Nurk play so i'm wondering if someone could tell me if Nurks potential ceiling is higher or lower than kanter?
  22. In a keeper league, do you see his ceiling being capped the next two years with Hayward back in the lineup next year? I've been given a offer where I'd get him but I'm wondering if he's worth the risk when Hayward is coming back? I say two year because our league does a full redraft every 4 years. Just wondering what y'all expectations of Tatum is when Hayward is healthy?
  23. Question for y'all. What do you project to be prime/ceiling for capela? What do you think his average stat like will be like in two years? Will he still be relavent as the league pushes away from bigs who can't shoot from range? I'm trying to see just how much expected return in a keeper league if I decide to make some moves to aquire him and if it's worth the high cost. Cheers!
  24. What's everyone's expectations on him say next year or when he's fully up to speed? I'm in a keeper league and I'm wondering who would be the better investment on the bulls.. Dunn or Lavine? My initial reaction is to say Zach Lavine since he's going to be first option on the team but what's his realistic ceiling? Being first option also means teams will be looking for him with the ball and keying in on his location at all times. Not everyone comes into a team and becomes victor oladipo but is that the potential we are looking at here? Or do you think Dunn is the bette
