It probably means Thompson is the healthy scratch
probably doesn't feel great right now to be one of the the thousands who reached rounds upon rounds for darwin

so hey what do you guys think of rodgers's matchup vs the bears on opening night

I can imagine benching him week 1 regardless of the matchup
so you want to bench the qb3 by adp in week 1 regardless of the matchup
-
What do you guys think?
I think GB is going to be a high powered offense, and I like that Rodgers & co. had aaaaall that time to prep for this game.

I do recall that because I remember one time when they handed to Kamara on 4th and short, and it was like wtf are you doing? You'd think they'd learn not to do that again. He was easily stuffed, and they even had Ingram at the time. I didn't even get it.
Kamara in space is as dangerous as it gets, but he's not an overly impressive rusher between the tackles compared to many others.
Again, just like I asked for on the last page...
Stats?
You got stats to go with that?
Anecdotes and "feelings" don't fly in 2019 on the Rotoworld.com Fantasy Football Talk Forums
To the poster before, I can't even tell you how many times last summer i was on the Kamara thread repeating the same crap over and over about how in the last X games of 2017 kamara was used more inside the 5 and the 10 than ingram was. The trend was obvious.
And also, btw, last summer we were told by the rotoworld forum experts that when ingram was out kamara was gonna get vultured by jonathan williams et al, because kamara was "too small" and "not a goal line back" (sound familiar? kinda like... something that was posted today?)
Let me introduce some of you to my friend the Google Machine. Kamara is 5'10 215. You might think he "looks" small or "looks" like he is a bad runner between the tackles. Cool story.
He's not Darren Sproles or Tarik Cohen, and there's no god damn way I'm re-litigating all this bull**** for 2019. Y'all get on the train or get the f off it

So...rd 4 fair?
my immediate reaction to that is... i would be happy with that, right?
i haven't gotten into the weeds enough to know where that puts him in terms of the bigger scheme of the wr hierarchy but..

yep and at least we will get fair, at worst, value on golladay in drafts. i'll have my sights set on him but keep expectations in check
then again if he totally beasts in preseason, which is definitely a possibility, u can throw all that "analysis" out the window...

Love the talent and the heart but this offense is one of the worst to invest in for 2019 imo

I don't think we're ever again going to see a fully unleashed Kamara because he's not that good of a rusher between the tackles. Kamara is all about that short passing game and then he goes off in space. That said, I can see him reaching 1000 yards rushing, and he's so good as a pass catcher that I also see him with 1000 yards receiving. We often talk about a RB who might reach that 1000 yards on both, but Kamara legitimately can.
are there stats to back this up, because this reminds me of all the hot takes we heard last summer, how kamara was going to get vultured at the goal line by some guy with 7 career carries over 4 seasons who just got called up off the practice squad

This guy, if he can stay uninjured, has a skill set to rival the top backs of all time. We may be looking at a legend like Barry Sanders, Marshall Faulk. To not accept this is to turn a blind eye to generational talent.

trouble is, those 1200 yards and 6 TDs (or 10 TDs) will come in 8 games,
with the other 8 games giant-sized goose-eggs yielding mega-sized frustration and piddly points.
amari cooper is bipolar on the field.
if cooper falls, somehow slips a round or two, it may be worth the risk because of his upside
but at his current cost of round 3 approaching round 2?
look at the end of last season's thread, SS had cooper going as high as 1st/2nd round in 2019. rage posting about that take about every 10 minutes for a couple days. hilarious

4th round is a complete joke. Cooper is the focal point of the Cowboys passing game. Dude is going second round in drafts in any competent league.
On 12/10/2018 at 12:32 AM, Tax77 said:If Jerrah signs him, which we know he will he will. Copper will go around right after the turn. The dude is explosive.
PPR:
WR12 / 29 overall (mid-3rd)
https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rankings/ppr-cheatsheets.php
WR15 / 32 or 34 overall (late 3rd)
Again, those are PPR.
On 12/10/2018 at 12:37 AM, Cotton Jones said:look, i get that you guys are excited because he had a great game and he's on your team, but cooper going early 2nd round is ridiculous.
He's probably a back end WR1 at best for 2018
You forget that Zeke is and will continue to be the driving force of this offense and the passing volume won't be there as long as that's the case, and also Dak is not a great passer.
Recency bias guys, look it up.
