I'm surprised no one has talked about this guy lately, particularly after last night. He's been rounding into form, and Avdija's season-ending injury basically secured Bertans a starting role ROS. Looks like he could be huge for the fantasy playoffs, especially considering they're 4-4-4-4 the final four weeks. Granted he may have some rest days on B2B's, but Wizards are trying to get that 8th seed - all the more reason to play.

he's alright i guess

This time he may be here to stay....said many a hopeless fantasy idealist throughout this entire NBA season. -
I'm wary of Brooks' antics just as much as the next guy, but the quote literally says, "...the team's trainers and Gafford are all 'comfortable' with where his limit is now." So perhaps we can ease off the Brooks Hate Train on this one.

I'm in the same position. I'd feel good going into the playoffs with my current squad, but to have them play on the last week is pretty silly. It's gonna be survival of the most rested. No one is immune. There's no vaccination for preventing rest days.

Bagley is traveling with the Kings this week as it's been four weeks since breaking his hand, and is presumably relatively close to playing again soon. How do you guys see his ROS trajectory on a plummeting Kings team?

Wow, little did I know that my question would stir up such a vast, eloquent debate of such spellbinding proportions. Succinct yet profound. I'm in awe, and will take all of these newfound assessments with me to the promised land.

I ain't no psychic, but I would say hold on man. It's crazy how reactionary people get in fantasy - a few weeks ago he was lauded as a ridiculous high upside waiver wire steal, and he proved his worth through his first 5 games, then Wall's return complicated things, then KPJ got injured, and consistency has been an issue ever since. But the upside is still alive and well imo, and he has all the opportunity in the world ROS. I'm not totally confident he'll be wonderful to own down the stretch, but it astounds me how reactive people are in such a short window of time. He's a strong hold for -

Not in points leagues, good sir. -
I'm not sure if it's as much him not being able to catch a break as it is the team just being careful with him after an invasive knee surgery. I think he'll be fine ROS but patience must be exercised.

He's going against the Stifle Tower tonight, so try not to let tonight's possible low stat performance negatively influence your ROS expectations of him. -
Someone offered me Tobias for LaMelo a couple weeks ago, and in an act of cocky swift stubbornness turned the guy down. Oh what fate! Oh what plight!
