  1. First round of playoffs for me, I'm throwing him out there.
  2. I'm stashing in preparation for the playoffs (starting week of Sept. 9th). Hoping he can be a solid SP3 type rest of season, although not the best schedule in mid September (v PIT, v. MIA, @ BOS, @ ATL, v. COL, v. LAD)
  3. If LeClerc has a few clean saves while Kelley is out I wonder if the Rangers just stick with him when Kelley returns
  4. Yep I also watch him every day and I think this is the kind of player we are looking at. Like Tony said he's a completely different hitter this year and he's hitting EVERYTHING hard. Super fun to watch. I do think any SBs he gets are a cherry on top, speed is not his greatest asset but he'll sneak some in.
  5. Not sure how Colorado's road offense is relevant for a Coors game. Their offense as a whole is .309/.371/.527 in Coors lol
  6. Right? Jeff freakin' Samardzija opposed him yesterday and threw 6.2 innings, 4 hits 2 runs 1 walk 9 k's against a much better offense than Marquez faced
  7. As a diehard sox fan that's been watching Workman for years, I agree. He's not nearly this good and some hits will start dropping in, at which point his abysmal walk rate will catch up with him. Ticking time bomb.
  8. Means actually deserves to be an all star though, regardless of the orioles. For me Devers and Bogaerts are both huge snubs, they have been the best players on the Sox this year.
  9. Sox fan here...this is how it's going to be all year in Boston, I wouldn't even bother trying to speculate their closer.
  10. He has another juicy matchup at home against the Blue Jays next week, I'll probably hold through then and see how he does. Rays always seem to get the most out of their pitchers.
  11. Looked solid yesterday against a bad Indians lineup. Picked him up to stream but might hold on to him if he sticks in the rotation. Anything to see here?
  12. Had a rough first inning, the rust of missing a start probably didn't help. Settled in nicely after that with only 1 additional run allowed and was still only at 84 pitches, could have gone deeper. Final line was ugly but could have been much worse. I think this guy is way underrated, especially given he actually pitched better in Coors last year. If he can end the year with a mid-to-high 3's ERA, double digit wins and a WHIP in the 1.2's that is very serviceable for a back of the rotation fantasy starter.
  13. I think you answered your own question 😉
  14. Chavis is not taking over 3B from Devers. Devers is a 22 year old former top prospect, they are giving him every opportunity to grow and succeed. If Chavis is taking anyone's job it's 2B from Pedroia. Pedey looks done.
