  1. When you grow up playing football in Colorado you get used to playing in higher altitudes... So yeah he was previously "used to playing football in higher altitudes". Never said the years in California didn't take away from his previous altitude conditioning. But he was used to it. Also the dude isn't a "must start weekly" unless you are suffering in the RB department. Plenty of other RB's with similar production now that Gordon is back. Really liked your take though. Super creative and insightful.... Sorry couldn't resist....
  2. Projection: 12 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: During the weekly Wednesday press conference, Rams head coach Sean McVay was asked about the changes in his offensive line, as three (3) of his five (5) starters have had less than three (3) starts in the NFL, with Bobby Evans at Right Tackle having zero (0) starts. The coach responded by saying “this will be a good challenge” and that they are “still working through what the lineup is going to look like”, which does not sound promising. Additionally, the coach was also asked about how the changes in offensive line will dictate his offensive game pla
  3. For this one, I had to try and put all of my emotions aside, as I am an Eagles season ticket member and a huge homer. Trust me, there is nothing more I would like to see then Ertz going off this week. However, I can recognize that the Eagles are severely lacking offensive weapons and teams including the Vikings and Bills have showed the NFL ways to shut down both the Eagles tight ends. I am also not too much of a hater to admit that the Patriots defense is the best in the league right now and that Bill Belichick is a defensive genius who changes his defensive scheme weekly to try and take away
  4. Projection: 12 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: Last week against the Bills, Kareem Hunt made his return to the NFL after serving an 8 game suspension for domestic violence. However, unlike his past seasons with the Chiefs, Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens got him significantly more involved in the passing game, which is great news for all PPR fantasy football owners. In fact, during his 27 game tenure with the chiefs, Hunt had a total of 79 receptions, which equates to approximately 3 receptions per game. During his first game with the Browns, Hunt had a total of 7 receptions, which is more tha
  5. Projection: 10.5 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: I know during the teams Week 9 matchup against the Bears that Zach Ertz finally had the breakout game that every fantasy owner was waiting for. However, it does appear that the Patriots are maybe developing a game plan to try and stop the Eagles tight end offensive production during their Week 11 matchup. During the Wednesday weekly press conference, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked about the Eagles offense and their use of the tight ends. The coach responded by saying “I think they [the Eagles] play in two (2) tight end sets more than
  6. Projection: 17 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: During the Wednesday weekly press conference, Bills head coach Sean McDermott was asked about the offensive play calling and in specific the run to pass ratio, which the team has been criticized about as of late for being too pass heavy. During their Week 10 loss against the Browns, the Bills threw the ball on 41 of their 62 plays, which equates to 66% of the time. However, the head coach responded by saying “it comes down to winning games, so if we have to throw it 100 times to win that game, then that is what I want us to do”. Based on that respons
  7. Projection: 14 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: During a one-on-one interview with Eagles head coach Doug Pederson on Tuesday, he was asked if he could name the teams identity right now. The coach responded by saying “yeah I think so, from an offensive standpoint we want to be physical upfront and the running game has been something that has been a bright spot for us”. He also said “the run, play-action, and screen game are all things we kind of hang our hat on”. Based on those responses, it appears that the Eagles will be running the ball a lot more, which is good news for all Jordan Howard fanta
  8. Projection: 17 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: According to Jets head coach Adam Gase, Le’Veon Bell did not practice on Wednesday due to an “illness” and said “it’s nothing serious”. I am speculating that Bell’s “illness” is probably knee soreness from playing in last week’s game, which is something he has been dealing with for a couple weeks. Bell also posted an Instagram photo of himself on Tuesday at a promotional event for PepCoin by PepsoCo, which involved him giving out cash to New Yorkers. Additionally, during the Wednesday weekly press conference, Jets head coach Adam Gase was as
  9. Projection: 12 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: The Chargers are coming off of a disappointing loss to the Raiders in Week 10 and will be playing the Chiefs this week in Mexico City. Last week, Austin Ekeler was out touched by Melvin Gordon 23-8 and salvaged an otherwise unproductive performance with a touchdown. Without the touchdown, Ekeler would have had 19 rushing yards and two (2) receptions on two (2) targets for 29 yards for a total of 5.8 fantasy points (0.5 PPR style). However, the game is being held at the colosseum in Mexico City, which is around 7200 feet above sea level. Chargers head
  10. Projection: 16 pts (0.5 PPR) Research: It was clear that the Browns wanted to incorporate Odell Beckham Jr. more into their offense during their Week 10 matchup against the Bills. Beckham was targeted a season high 12 times, but only hauled in 5 receptions for 57 yards. During the Wednesday weekly press conference, Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens was asked about Beckham and the “concerted effort they made to get him more involved”. The coach said “well, I think anytime we get the ball in our playmakers hands, it’s a good thing”. Based on that response, it’s clear they think very highly
