Point Mitchell is actually good, Conley injury might be a blessing in disguise. He needs to continue to play like this after Conley returns. Jazz look like a complete team, shooters everywhere (Conley, Mitchell, Ingles, Bojan, Clarkson), best defensive center in the league in Gobert, and this year's Sixth Man of the Year (Clarkson).

Oneal is a great defender for wings too.

Think this tidbit got lost in the Maledon hype party but he started with SGA out and Dort just went down with an injury. Could be something here if Dort loses extended time and SGA returns healthy.

any twitter post or updates on the extent of Dorts injury? I didn't see it but he didnt return

My understanding is 4-6 weeks but i guess it all depends how quick he recovers. I believe he had same issue in 2016 with the Suns

If we’re using the 4-6 wks time table, I’m hoping we get some updates soon. How long has it been since his surgery?

Guys the Grizzlies only said they'll be ramping him up over the next month. Maybe that means he's gonna play but be on a minutes limit? Him not playing till March is just his interpretation of what Memphis meant. Wishful thinking on my part maybe.

Either way you look at it, you won't be able to utilize him till April. If they are out of play off contention, why even bring him in it and just give him the year to heal fully for next year

Thought about dropping DJ for someone on the waive but after looking at what he provided for my team for the entire weak (8 blocks and nearly 70% FG), I just couldn't do it.

I have Josh Richardson in my IL currently and not sure who to drop. Either Oubre, Cole Anthony, or DJ. It's going to be a very tough one here and if the nets get more in the front court, I may have to cut DJ.

if you look at his avg stats last 7 days and 14* days since the trade, hes a servicable ranking ...u cant find a WW that shows that consistently even with his low min.

Couple decent games... We have seen this before. They really need him at this moment to touch the balls all the time. But soon MCW is back and then he will have his usual allotment of mediocre game after mediocre game.

do you have MCW or something? i see you posting on both this and cole forum too saying the same thing.

He had some pretty pedestrian lines in the 4 previous games KD missed this year. But those were all with J. Allen on the roster of course. Still though, I'm kind of nervous starting Green tonight given it's a full slate of games.

Jeff Green's lines in games KD's missed:

    • Dec 28: 2 threes, 8 PTS, 1 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK on 3/6 FG in 23 mins
    • Jan 5: 0 threes, 2 PTS, 5 REB, 0 AST, 0 STL, 0 BLK on 1/3 FG in 19 mins 🤢🤢🤢
    • Jan 7: 2 threes, 14 PTS, 1 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK on 4/7 FG in 28 mins
    • Jan 8: 3 threes, 9 PTS, 9 REB, 4 AST, 1 STL, 0 BLK on 3/5 FG in 34 mins

What are you guys thinking? Am I overthinking this?

yeah, im playing him becuse he has the minutes, but it is very underwhelming...i just have so many injuries and ppd's that i need to make up in games so he's the best streamer right now AND i have DJ

Career high on 3p%, career high on points, career high on ast, career high on blocks... If you are not happy with him now, you will not be happy with him this season. Period.

He can improve on his turnovers by 0.5, other than that its what he is.

I agree with most of your statement but he's still young, he can still evolve his game and improve in getting to the line more and stealing 1+. If he learns to get the line more often, that boost his overall pts avg and increase his rank by the volume of his ft. This is 9 cat i'm speaking of at least.

wondering whether to swoop. not many guys that can get u 3+ assists on the waiver in a 14 teamer

Its tough. I have him on WW but i had jordan clarkson so i know that clarkson rise hasn’t helped ingles value so it just depends on how the team utilizes both. Im not sure if these two compete but i think their has to be a corellation  between the two lol

If you need another big man for end up bench...he is your guy! Don’t overthink think it. This man will put up close to 10ppg / 12 rpg / 2 apg / over a block / elite FG / and who knows he could be close to 70% from the line.

I think he will be influenced/motivated in a bit way by having all these hoopers around him and the fact that they have a chance to win it all.

chances are he’s gone. Hold if need budget big man stats. But the rebounds will likely be elite!

I agree. Having harden/ irving/kd has definitely motivated him since they are officially champ contenders. Surrounded with great shooters only gives him the ability to get some easy lobs too!
