Easily one of the worst takes I’ve seen on this site in a long time.

”I don’t care if you’re in a wheelchair! I need my fantasy points!”

Sick analogy, bruh. I actually own zero shares of Carrasco, so this is irrelevant from fantasy.

Just saying if a pitcher is ready to pitch, as in 'pitch the ball', you know, like what he gets paid millions of dollars to do (not hit), then let's go. I dont wanna hear a pitcher isnt ready to come back cuz he cant hit.

Per this quote from earlier in the thread.. "Probably because the hamstring isn’t healed enough to run, field or bat (now that he’s in the NL) despite his arm being almost ready to pitch."

...So cuz hes in the NL now that means his rehab has to take longer?? Dumb.

Fair points. I guess when I hear a pitcher is tossing 4 innings I just assume it won’t be another month. But you’re probably right, in those simulated games he maybe isn’t doing everything

So dumb that a 'pitcher' is a month away from playing because he cant 'run' or 'hit'. If hes ready to pitch then put him out there. Couldnt care less about him running or hitting.

he is helping my team with his fg% but other than that, not so much tbh...pretty underwhelming stats and thats exactly why i said people should not get overly excited if he does great 3-4 games in a row

So what happens when he goes on another streak of 6 great games? Im sure all the haters will disappear again. It's like he has a couple 'subpar' games (still decent numbers) and everyone jumps down his throat

It's easy when you play in a league by yourself ;)

I think that I was clear in my previous message, no one is chiming in anymore, because we've all given up. Last week ranked 123rd, enough said.

Decent in real life, but huge fantasy disappointment.

    Lol. Ok, pal

You were saying? There are no haters here anymore, because we've already given up on him.

He is in the fight of his life for top 100 value, and that's that. We are all aware of that.

Are you now chiming in after his first single digit game in weeks, where he only played 24 mins cuz his team won by 40 pts, and he had a +15. Oh and he had 2 stocks and shot well.

Sorry yall hate him but hes helping my team.

    You were saying??

  6. Bryce Harper has .500 obp with 250 r+rbi (unanimous mvp)

    Cavan Biggio gets triple-triple - 100r, 100rbi, 100bb

Jack Flaherty has sub 2.50era and 250+ Ks

Kershaw barely throws 100 reg season innings

Dodgers have 7 pitchers make 20 starts

Alex Colome leads league in Saves, gets 90 Ks

Alex Kirilloff hits 25hrs, steals 15 bags

Judge, Stanton, Hicks all hit 30+ hrs, combine for 600 r+rbi

Giancarlo Stanton hits 45hrs with 130rbi (top3 mvp; plays less than 6 games in OF)

Vlad Jr hits 40hr and 120rbi

Joey Gallo hits 46hr to win HR crown

Acuna, Tatis, Soto all finish outside top10 in fantasy

Manny Machado is top3 in WAR

Tim Anderson hits .350 with 125 runs

    Freddy Peralta Ks 200 batters

Amir Garrett gets 35 saves and 100 Ks

    Nick Senzel goes 25/25

Alex Reyes rivals Chad Green for best overall fantasy RP (especially leagues accounting for Holds)

    Keston Hiura hits 40hrs

Justin Upton still has plenty left in the tank, gives us 35/100

Shohei Ohtani hits 50hrs and Ks 300 batters.

  7. The way I see it- you have 162 starts. Figure bauer/buehler/kersh/urias are gonna take up about 120 of those (Bauer prob gets the most, kersh will miss his hand full of starts and buehler prob gets stretched out some throughout the year same with urias). This leaves 40ish starts for price, may, gonsolin. Price has already expressed hes fine coming out of the pen, and that's prob best for him and the team at this stage in his career, so combine that with his injury history and I can see price only getting 5-10 starts. Also not sure how they are handling Urias. Do they unleash him to approach 30 starts, or are they gonna be cautious with him and give him closer to 20? So Price and Urias are kinda the wild cards.

I wouldn't be shocked if Gonsolin still finds his way into 20 starts. Combine that with some high leverage use outta the pen, and he should still be a decently valuable pitcher this season, assuming he still rocks great ratios and a K per inn.

correa, senzel, buxton, hicks all play 150 games

Would love this. Have a bunch of senzel and hicks. But I doubt any Yankee plays over 150 games. It's just not their thing.

Edit: so yea, I guess that's bold lol

Norm will be 4th in shot attempts after Dame, CJ and Nurk. Anyone expecting Raps Norm numbers when everyone was out is in for disappointment

Def not expecting Raps Norm numbers, but no chance Nurk gets more shot attempts than Norm. Can make a case for Melo, maybe even BobCov, but def not Nurk.

They brought Norm in to take shots n bomb 3s, maybe help on D. That's what we should expect.

  10. Omar Narvaez.

He was real solid in 2019, had 22hrs and .353 obp. Down year last year playing for new team, but could easily bounce back in 2nd year and normal season. Hits in an easy park, and not much competition behind him.

Could realistically hit 20+ hrs and .350+ obp

    Dame/ CJ drop 30 each

Melo wants his 17 shots a game.

    Nurkic coming back.

Powell can slot somewhere in there. I just dont know where

Lol CJ ain't gonna avg 30; maybe he gets it going by playoffs. Same with Nurk, who will still have to share mins with Kanter. Both are gonna be shells of themselves for a while.

And if Melo steals too many mins/shots from Powell than that's a damn travesty. Melo should be nothing more than 6th man Vet, 10 shots a game off the bench.

Not expecting powell to put up the ridiculous numbers he has past couple months, but he could come close to 20ppg and prob shoot more 3s, still get steals, maybe less TOs

  12. 9 minutes ago, DonutGiveUp said:

This could still be not bad for Powell. Lillard already stated earlier in year that they need to make sure him and CJ get proper rest and dont overplay down the stretch (supposedly a mistake they made in past years)

So this could have Powell stepping up when/if either of those rest.

At the very least he'll be the third option on a high scoring team. Could see lots of open looks. Hes a great player, he might not put up the numbers he has recently, but he'll find a way to get his

    Thanks for fantasy 101 .

As you eluded in your original post.

His rankings are heavily skewed because of 0 missed games.

Seasonsal rankings are meaningless without taking into context per week averages.

In which per BBM  has him @ 70th on the season

    #74th last week

    #99th last 2 weeks

Your rankings are a hoax , even Yahoo has him nowhere near that.

    youre welcome.

i used bbm. in total value/total stats (which is what i focus on, not avgs) hes #48 (sorry, 1 off), and #36 since Jan. 18. Those rankings are not a hoax. Im sure a lot of his value is tied to not missing games, but i feel like thats pretty important.

And yea based on avgs, pretty disappointing and underwhelming. You can say from a real life/nba perspective hes like the 100th ranked/valuable player or worse maybe, his numbers have been kinda bleh. He def had a slow start to the season that hurt his value a bunch.

But yea, like i said, itd be cool if he would turn it up a bit.

Thats nice and all. But we trying to win chips here ...

    Not regular season rankings 😂

My hope is he turns it up atleast a notch or two, come fantasy playoffs.

Generally a players ranking is a good indication of their value. You kno, kinda like how Jokic is ranked 1, and hes the most valuable fantasy player. And usually the more valuable players you have leads to winning 'chips'.

So I'm really not complaining about ayton being ranked 47, and hes actually #36 over past 2months/30games.

But sure, itd be nice if he could turn it up a bit.
