  1. I still don’t see how an age-43, immobile QB transitioning to a new system coached by a vertically minded Arians behind a suspect line cracks top-5. Leaving aside Jackson and Mahomes, he’s still need to beat out the likes of Watson, Allen, Brees, Rodgers, Watson, etc.
  2. You need to look again - new CBA allows it, for all intents and purposes.
  3. It will be hard for them to bounce back without Cooks, Gurley and with needs basically along the entire O-line.
  4. True - but I think regardless of his attitude, the Jags correctly realize they need to re-stock picks in the midst of a total rebuild. It doesn’t make sense for them to keep him.
  5. I feel quite sure he will be - I just wonder about the landing spot.
  6. Howard will be on the move in the next day or two, I’d wager.
  7. Shake: what in Sam Hill are you talking about?!
  8. If that was your point, then why do you assume he would continue to have a negative attitude if he were traded to a contending team that knew how to properly utilize a bellcow back? The 2017 Jaguars were most definitely a contending team that almost made it to the SB.
  9. Not to mention Smith’s playcalling was light-years better than JAX’s.
  10. Henry had 5 TDs in GS by Mariota. I don’t understand your point. And he ran behind an elite run-blocking line. JAX’s line and play-calling was atrocious last year.
  11. Last season, only 4 RBs given a total of 300+ touches mustered 10 TDs - the others had 3, 8, 9, 8, and 4. Why would you call that “average”?
  12. Curious to hear why - I don’t see it having much of an effect on Godwin’s final line.
  13. 7th, I knew this one was incoming - thank you for coming through in the clutch!
  14. Didn’t Brate have more TDs off of 17 fewer targets last season than Gronk had in his last season with a younger Brady plus Belichick?
  15. Maybe I’m missing the joke, then - wouldn’t lining him up in the slot indicate a willingness to use him primarily as a receiver?
  16. Or maybe this just increases the likelihood of a trade?
  17. This guy’s only been in town a couple of weeks and he’s already breaking the law: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.tampabay.com/sports/bucs/2020/04/20/tom-brady-was-thrown-out-of-park-by-a-tampa-recreation-worker/%3foutputType=amp
  18. Heck, next year might mark the first time in a couple of decades Brady doesn’t show up as “injured” on the weekly report.
  19. I think the odds that he’s benched for ineffectiveness are vanishingly small. If he misses time, it will be due to injury - which is a fairly substantial risk given the circumstances.
  20. I feel as if that’s moving in the wrong direction.
