  1. I've been the commish of a Yahoo baseball league since 2004. We didn't play in 2019. We are playing again this year, but I can not find an option to renew anywhere. Not sure if it's related to us not playing in '19, and customer service reps are no help. Anyone else run into this issue? I'd hate to have to start from scratch.
  2. We had a "no Bo Jackson" rule as kids when we played this game.
  3. Will he not go on the IR right away because of the BYE week? That would suck.
  4. Anyone else having message board issues on Yahoo? Owners are posting, yet their messages are not appearing. Also, curse words are now auto-censored. Thanks, Obama.
  5. I really think they are. They had that unbelievable stretch of games against crappy QBs, and after the BYE they get PHI, DAL, HOU, KC. Does not look easy on paper.
  6. Hopefully he sticks at leadoff. Is Votto out for a while?
  7. Whoa, he was hitting .399 in AAA. Clearly the next Tony Gwynn?
  8. I feel like he's only been starting against lefties. Yanks face another lefty tonight, but then three righties over the weekend. Should be interesting to see how his PT is affected.
  9. Carp back to DL. Edman back to leadoff spot tonight.
  10. SS eligible in Yahoo tomorrow. Third straight start at SS tonight. Manager A.J. Hinch hopes Straw can afford the Astros' struggling lineup a different dimension. Houston has stranded 89 baserunners in its last 10 games while scoring just 3.4 runs per contest. "I like having him in the lineup," Hinch said. "His contact rate is really good. His speed is excellent. He adds a dimension to our lineup that we don't have a lot of and that gets him into the lineup. The only way I could do it with the configuration today was in short."
  11. Lowe leads the Rays in both HRs and RBIs and this is how he's rewarded. Their offense has been in the ****ter all week too. Let the man play!
  12. Probably didn't get out of his seat during the long plane ride. That'll cramp you up.
  13. The official move to the injured list for Anderson will probably be made Friday. The Sox are also expected to call up a pitcher from Class AAA Charlotte to start while Dylan Covey, who made a rehab start there Wednesday, and Manny Banueulos work their way back from sore shoulders.
  14. X-Rays were negative and Anderson will be re-evaluated in Boston Wednesday, when the Sox close out a six-game road trip. Anderson went to his left to field a ground ball off the bat of J.D. Martinez and threw across his body to first base to record the out. Anderson’s right foot slid across the dirt as he made the throw, and he went down.
