  1. The problem with him is Baltimore. Baltimore hasn't been able to do much with their premium prospects. Gausman, Bundy, Harvey, Arietta, Bedard, Matusz, Tillman, Riley, Loewen, even going back to Ben McDonald days. Baltimore SPs do not have a good track record and tend to do better outside of Baltimore. Maybe it's a fluke. Maybe it's something wrong with the team, but it's a red flag. And even if he does end up good, he still has to go against the AL East which is always an offensive powerhouse. I actually own Hall, but I plan on trading him before he sniffs the majors.
  2. 12 team OPS league. The full trade I give up: Stanton, German Marquez, Jeff McNeil, Tanner Houck (can be kept for $10 next year), Jered Weaver (can be kept next year for $6), Blake Trienen I get Kris Bryant, Joe Musgrove, Mark Canha, Diego Castillo, Mike Clevinger (can be kept for $10 next year) right now I have Austin Riley and Jeimer Candelario at 3B and CI, Bryant and Canha would give me flexibility there I have McNeil at 2b, but also have Eduardo Escobar on the bench about to qualify at 2b and have Brendan Rodgers in my minors too Stanton is great, but I’m worr
  3. His only competition (Orlando Arica) for SS just got traded. Brice Turang is one of their key prospects, but he has never played above A+ Urias has the SS job. SS is pretty deep, but he also qualifies at 3B and 2B so he’s a great utility pickup for your bench. he has not been great the last couple years, but never also got a real shot. He’s most likely not a power guy (only 5’8”) doesn’t steal much, and bats 8th, but he does have a career .308/.397/.433 career line in the minors and did put up a 1.000 OPS in AAA with 19 homers in 73 games in 2019. He w
  4. He has started the first two games of the year at 2B (against both a lefty and righty) and bat cleanup today. He’s no great shakes as a fantasy 3B, but he hit 35 homers and drove in 120 runs in 2019. Which was a big leap, but he seems to have a safe floor of around .270 .800 OPS with 20 homers and 150 runs produced He’s only owned about 50%. And he hasn’t done well recently, but if he starts hitting and gets 2b eligibility he could see a leap in value. like a discount Moustakas or Muncy
  5. The teams I'm most worried about C Mitch Garver 1B Fred Freeman 2B Ozzie Albies 3B Rafael Devers SS Bo Bichette MI Paul DeJong CI J Cronenworth LF Alex Verdugo CF Victor Robles RF Trey Mancini UT Mike Trout UT Jared Walsh Pitchers Max Fried Kevin Gausman Tyler Glasnow John Mean
  6. I'd drop Gurriel for Rodgers, Sheffield, or Valdez. Valdez probably my choice.
  7. 23 round pick for Vlad is basically free. You've gotta go with him and Giolito. Devers is better than Vlad (for now), but 10 rounds is a huge value.
  8. I always trade the pitcher for hitter if they are on equal tiers. And Yelich, besides the weird 2020 has been a beast. Tough to give up Bieber, but makes sense to me.
  9. Gausman by a bit in my mind. Morton's age and exceptional performance of late gives me concern. Gausman in San Fran seems really attractive. He likely won't win more than 13 games, so that won't help, but I tend to draft for ratios and just hope the wins happen.
  10. Woodruff/Arozarena. I'm not a huge believer in Snell and I think Mountcastle played a bit over his head last year.
  11. I like it. I think it's a strong team. You waited on pitching, but still got some great ones.
  12. you need to trade some OF depth for pitching. The offense looks good, but the pitching staff has some serious risks.
  13. Nola went for $1 more than Scherzer in my league last night. I'd go with Nola. Less chance of injury
  14. I would much rather have Strasburg, Bryant, and Story. Arenando and Snell a bit over Bryant (huge bounceback potential) and Strasburg (hurt, but not like he's having arm troubles...like Snell has), and Story by a billion over Jansen
  15. Odorizzi and Manaea. If you want to swing for the fencees, I'd go with Alzolay over Odorizzi
  16. It's a 12 team 5x5 league with OPS instead of BA, but recently has saves+holds (instead of just saves) and wins+QS (as opposed to just wins) as a change as well Ca: Will Smith ($1 keeper) 1b: Matt Olson $36 2B: Jeff McNeil $11 3B: Austin Riley ($1 keeper) SS: Gleyber Torres ($2 keeper) MI: Adalberto Mondesi $33 CI: Jeimer Candelario $1 LF: Kyle Tucker ($1 keeper) CF: Luis Robert ($0 keeper) RF: Michael Confort ($34) UT; Shohei Ohtani ($16 keeper) UT: Giancarlo Stanton $39 bench: Josh Fuentes, Ha Seon Kim, Bryan Reynolds
  17. ooops wrong forum!
  18. Who are some $1-$3 targets for saves + Holds leagues? My league switched to it this year and I want to to grab 3-5 guys with good ratios and Ks who will get me mediocre in the category but with good peripheral stats? I know the Hader/Chad Green types but they will cost way more than I want to spend
