Justin Turner 2021 Outlook
24/7fantasysports replied to Richard Kimble's topic in Fantasy Baseball Talk
2 year 34 million deal with LAD. He didn't get the 4 year deal he was seeking. I think the fact the LAD's are defending champs and now he has 34 million reasons to arguably "bounce back" from a down 2020. His power was missing last year but his exit velocity stayed the same and he improved his barrel %. He also kept his K% on par with his 2019 %. I'm gauging his value in Dynasty league. He has only played more than 130 games in a season twice in his career and the last time was 2017. -
Rate My Squad, Pick Last Keeper - WHIR
24/7fantasysports replied to UberRebel's topic in Bench Coach Help Forum
Wow, each have great keeper value. Because it is a 10 team league could you consider not keeping Darvish? Could there be decent SP options to draft to replace Darvish? The reason I say Darvish is that he is 34 years old and it would allow you to then keep a younger player at no worse than the 6th rd. And you already have Giolito, Gallen, and Bieber. If keeping Darvish then I would select Julio Rodriguez. And if no longer keeping Darvish then I would keep Rodriguez and Grisham. -
In a 14 team H2H dynasty, I was offered Aaron Civale for my Edwin Diaz and Draft Pick 2.14 (28th overall). I have 4 picks in the first two rounds and would still have Picks 1.7, 1.10, and 2.8. Our pitching categories are QS, W, K's, ERA, WHIP, SV/H3. My current SP's are Woodruff, Lynn, Ian Anderson, Pablo Lopez, Lamet, Cease, Turnball, David Peterson, Justin Dunn, Merrill Kelly, and Tijuan Walker. My current RP's are Diaz, Karinchek, and Nick Anderson. I have Genesis Cabrera on my roster and will activate him if he has a pitching role. I like what I'm reading about Civa

Who you taking at 3 in FYPD?
24/7fantasysports replied to Shamrocks's topic in Bench Coach Help Forum
Take whoever your gut is telling you to take. If from your research and evaluation, Nick G. is the pick then take him. It's a horrible feeling to pass on the player you knew was the right pick get drafted by someone else and perform well. Its an even greater feeling for Prospects b/c you have to wait until they are called up...lol. But it's the best feeling when you take that "perceived reach" that gets the Draft Room chattering and you are right. Gotta love fantasy sports. Good luck with whomever you elect to draft. -
Thanks for the replies. We have OBP instead of AVG as a hitting category along with batting K's. That certainly favors Verdugo as we enter the 2021 season. My overall and long term concern with Verdugo is he hasn't demonstrated the ability to hit the ball hard. And from what I've read his underlying stats don't indicate when that could come, if at all? Whereas Happ has shown an improvement in reducing his K's.

Here are a few recent articles discussing Civale. I'm mulling the idea of acquiring him via trade in my Dynasty league. Have a good one. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fantraxhq.com/right-and-wrong-aaron-civale-2021-fantasy-outlook/amp/ https://www.rotoballer.com/player-news/aaron-civale-2021-outlook-one-major-correction-needed-against-rhh/830216 https://fantasy.fangraphs.com/quality-start-leagues/ https://www.pitcherlist.com/aaron-civale-should-make-a-drastic-pitch-mix-change/

Is he a Sell now in Dynasty?

14 team H2H. Hitting: R,HR,RBI,SB,OBP,K's. Pitching: QS,W,K,ERA,WHIP,SV/H3 I was fortunate enough to win our sprint season last year but need SB's badly so I'm looking to add that category pre-draft. Last year I was able to reduce hitting K's and improve my OBP pre-draft. Would you trade my Eugenio Suarez, Eddie Rosario, David Peterson, Justin Dunn, and Pick 2.14 for Chris Bassitt, Randy Arozarena, Whit Merrifield, and Pick 4.9? Not enough from my end? Team below and WHIR. My team: C. Will Smith 1B Alonso 2B Moose 3B Suarez SS Corey Seage

And he is only 25 years old.

I know the Padres are going all in. But the back to back acquisitions of Snell and Darvish raises the concern of Lamets health. All speculation on my part.
