  1. for season long i'd cut bait and pick him up again whenever you need him. He's a keeper in my league and he showed me just enough to keep him for little longer. This is the game where he produced best without Blake and Drose. He still defers to Grant and J.Jackson. He starting getting a lot more assists late game because they were getting out in transition and when he kicked it out the guys were just shooting. In the half court sets he's invisible because he passes to a wing and they're running a lot of offense through Mason Plumlee (wut?). The team is like a christmas stocki
  2. he looked terrible. In contrast to haliburton who is also playing with D'Fox and managed at 15 / 6 dime line. You can chalk it up to Detroit being terrible but he's competing with Delon Wright and DRose. There is no reason why he can't make an impact when the supposed + for him was he was playing grown men overseas. I'm gonna give him one more game but I smell a bust.
  3. So as you guys suggested I'm looking potentially punting after the 3rd some odd pick in H2H. Based on my league settings a guy like Brogdon might be ranked 30th overall total but is the 10th ranked guard and a guy like Miles Turner might be ranked 60th total but is the 5th highest center. Would you select the Miles Turner or Brogdon? I.e. would you take the higher ranking total player and find a servicable center later on in the draft or is it more important to grab a more efficient center?
  4. Thanks! Ya so my league is ATO only. So i'm doing my rankings and basically guards are all at the top. I'm not sure why I wouldn't run as many PGs as possible and punt FG% and REBs when I should easily secure Asts, Stls, FT%, ATO and aim for competitive 3s, Blks, Pts. I definitely wont be punting TO's infact it's probably the most important stat!
  5. call me crazy but I actually think Kyrie is undervalued. I think last year he didn't have reason to really play with KD on the shelf. So when he got hurt he took his time with it and then ultimately chose to end the season. This year, the team is trying to make a splash, nash / dantoni as coaches, I think he's gonna have a rebound. His per game is top 10 so getting him around 20 is a gonna be a steal.
  6. In typical 9 cat leagues ive read that most would ignore turnovers wen building a team. But in a league using assist to turnover ratio instead of turnovers wouldnt that over weight PGs? or would you still ignore the turnovers in an A/TO league? I assume centers like Draymond and Horford would become more valuable as well.
  7. I'm in the same boat. Deciding between him and booker near end of first round. I was leaning towards booker because of the Suns hot streak in the bubble and I think they're going to be on a mission this year to make the playoffs. But Tatum is really consistent which I think helps in H2H.
  8. Ya this was absolutely infuriating to me. My team was stacked yet i'd lose every week. I'm glad this isn't just me. I appreciate the comments. I guess I should just trust the process and honestly couldn't understand what I could have done differently other than punting.
  9. This is an incredible explanation and thank you kindly for your time. I'm going to refer to this during the season. I'm not totally sure of the settings, but if we do have weekly moves and stream spots, I'll definitely adopt your strategy. In summary, you're saying be adaptable -- i dont necessarily need a punt strategy right off the bat. Building an even team will help you adjust week to week against opponents whereas certain punts will hamper you against some opponents.
  10. I'm a seasoned Rotisserie Basketball GM jumping into Basketball H2H for the first time. I've played H2H in hockey previously (and drafted BPA all the way down) and my team cumulatively had the highest totals in 6 out of 9 categories but I finished 2nd last in the league at seasons end. I dont even understand how that is possible. My questions for seasoned H2H GMs: 1) Is a punt strategy an absolute must in H2H and if so which builds make sense for 2020/2021? 2) what kind of adjustments to do you make week to week leading up to playing a new opponent? 3) What other tips wou
  11. DSJ looking decent tonight. Playing inspired...
  12. already clanked 2. I'm in a rotoleague. This guy is destroying me.
  13. Agree with this. Only been 3 games. The two games prior are great. All I was saying is his a** gets slapped by the raptors.
  14. I think ingles is only a deep league target. He was just inside top 100 last year starting playing 32 minutes a game. He's now coming off the bench and Utah has 2 pg's this year. Assists will drop and his minutes are now floating around 28 a game. He'll put up consistent low value but at the end of my bench i'm looking for someone that can blow up and become top 60.
  15. marc gasol absolutely owns vucevic. just dont start him against the raps.
