Happy birthday to...

That's exactly what I am doing. I have one saved from a poker game a few weeks ago... I am going to a racetrack/casino and playing video poker + horse betting + smoking cigars with my grandmother.

so Priest Holmes was your fantasy MVP when you were 11?

Yeah, in my first year of playing he was the guy I took that got me the most points out of anyone on my team. My cousin got me involved when I was really young.

I also started around that age. I'm 28 now though so I have been playing fantasy since before the internet was common. I played a USA Today mail in football game around 10-11. I think it's great for sports loving kids to play fantasy. I actually won money in a nationwide baseball game at the age of 12, and haven't done much since B) . Happy birthday man. Enjoy the cigars and gambling.

That's sick, I thought I was one of a kind ;o. I remember the newspaper versions from when I was very little, but then my cousin got me on a pay league on MyFantasyLeague and I was hooked. Then around age 13 I got my own team and I have cashed in our big league every year... but we do have a lot of guys who don't prepare well. This is my first year of baseball... before March, I thought baseball was boring and for losers... and now it's probably one of my favorite things to watch and practice.

I got to Buffalo Raceway at like 6:00 EST tonight. I registered for a card and had to validate my ID with like 4 guards (I have a baby face and am constantly mistaken for 14/15, etc.). So I cash in 25 dollars in 5 dollar bills. And then I lose ten in about 15 minutes and get mad because I realize that the games are all luck. So then I go watch the Mets get pounded, then go spend 15 more with my grandma. Then she lets me play on her card and we make 10 dollars. Our horse loses its race, we eat and leave. I save my cigar for tomorrow or Sunday. I got some fireworks, best part of my day, and come home.

My birthday was pretty lame. I thought my 18th would be cooler than this but in reality nobody really said anything to me and I lost 85 dollars gambling. But whatever, I guess it's just part of getting older. I got the most ''happy birthday'' messages from people on this forum... lol. Thanks.

At least Shin Soo-Choo got me a super cool gift! endrant
