Just got back from my softball season opener and cracked and Amber Bock getting ready to watch this killer young SP duel. B)

Check out how close the ratios are for these two studs:

Latos - 3.24 ERA, 1.01 WHIP

Cecil - 3.22 ERA, 0.99 WHIP

That's insane! I've got to give Cecil props for compiling his numbers in the AL East though. Impressive stuff.

Let's go Pads!

Ouch...Grand Slam by Cunningham. Who? Randall??? Crap

He got called up a couple days ago when Stairs hit the DL.

4 pitch walk to Eckstein now. Cecil is shellshocked.......

Hopefully he settles down and Latos gets me a CG SO...lol (although I have Aaron Hill and Bautista going too - doh)

Whooaaa. Headly took away a SHOT base hit from Buck.

Yeah he did. Thanks to Headley, Latos has gone 9 up and 9 down.

Buck has absolutely been killing the ball against the Padres so far this series. That dude is starting to scare me.

Nick Hundley strikes again with a single to left.

I wonder if there are any FBB owners running a straight Padres platoon with Hundley and Torrealba. You could do a lot worse at catcher even in shallow leagues.......

No, he's been lucky in the last couple of games too

His Babip was around .240 before today

Any pitcher would need a little luck going against the Rays and Yankees though.

And even still he was 2-0 with 3 hits against the Rays/5 hits against the Yankees (2 combined runs).

Wow, Cunningham is putting on a show.......ground rule double in his last AB. If not for PETCO's ridiculous power alleys it would of been HR #2.

Aaron "Beast Mode" Cunningham? Just Cunningham being Cunningham LOL.

Latos is throwing absolute heat tonight. Consistently 95-97. This guy is a serious talent, amazing how little recognition he gets compared to other top young pitchers.
