I'd hold on to him if you can. He is still producing enough to warrant a roster spot in a lot of leagues, but when you add on the extreme upside that is almost certainly to come within the next month or so...I wouldn't drop him. But then that also depends on how your league is and how fast people are when it comes to picking guys up.

It's hard for him to put up big numbers with the Nuggets now having a full roster for the first time all year, but I think he'll still give you a consistent 10-12 and 3-5 assists, even in 20 mpg. Plus your occasional big games. But as soon as Melo is traded, all bets will be off and I wouldn't want to miss that boat.

Didn't see where he got hurt, but it couldn't have been too bad because it wasn't some big thing where he was laying on the ground and they had to call a timeout or anything. JR Smith also slipped and sprained something towards the end up of the game...makes me kind of pissed at LA's maintenance people, as that's not so coincidental.

Probably miss tomorrows game since it's a b2b, but can't see him being out too much longer.

Trade talks involving Carmelo Anthony have rapidly escalated between interested parties and a deal is possible "in the next 48 hours".

According to sources, the key players have been discussed and all that remains is the financing. Of the key players mentioned thus far, the Nets would land Anthony, Chauncey Billups and Rip Hamilton, the Pistons would acquire Troy Murphy, and the Nuggets would end up with Devin Harris, Derrick Favors and two first round picks. In all this mega deal could exceed fifteen players. Hold onto your seats!

Would Denver start Lawson or Harris if this trade goes through. Lawson should get the starting Gig right? They'll ship Devin Harris out for another trade?

Wishful thinking.

Wishful thinking.

The Nets and Nuggets, meanwhile, have not stopped looking for other teams beyond Detroit that would be interested in joining the trade, since Denver does not have a strong need for Harris with young guard Ty Lawson on the roster.

why does denver need Harris when Lawson is better and alot cheaper.. ? Even Denver mgmt say Lawson is their future..

harris should start in denver, id be surprised if he didnt. but lawson could still be relevant with melo gone, he played well alongside billups for a game or two, didnt he?

not the best case scenario, but lawson could still be worthwhile.

No way they'll run with Harris and Lawson alongside each other for long stretches. Lawson is their only backup PG so an injury to either of them will be catastrophic.

Besides, if Morrow does go to Denver there'll be no need to shift Harris to SG.

Harris isn't going to be apart of long term plans, so I can't see them holding back Ty just because he is the "better player" right now. Harris could possibly start, but Ty is definitely going to get his minutes.

Harris is 27 (Lawson is 23)... I do believe Harris will be part of the long-term plan should he replace Chuncey. Yahoo's reporting that Billups will not be dealt though... the guard being dealt from the Nuggets is Carter. That will create a log jam with Billups, Harris and Lawson.

Lawson is basically going to be in the same situation as before. But with Melo out, Ty maybe up his ppg a little bit. Harris will still most likely start with Lawson spelling him from the bench. Problem is, Billups was playing a little bit of sg when Lawson was playing pg, so that probably wont happen since Harris is smaller than Billups...But the good thing is that Harris is more brittle and probably more injury prone than Billups so Ty got that going for him.

From Yahoo http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AgR....tonstalks010711

The proposed trade will send Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Hamilton, Nuggets guard Anthony Carter and forward Shelden Williams to the Nets

And there were reports a few days ago that the Nuggets, should they land Harris, would try to flip him to Portland for Miller and Batum. Doesn't mean it would happen, but it does tell you Harris isn't in their plans. Lawson is their PG of the future. They're not going to derail his development for a guy they're trying to get rid of, though they may try to showcase Harris for a little bit.

If they get Miller, then Lawson will still be a bench player in the same situation. He is their PG of the future, but for the present hes not worth it unless you are in a very deep league or someone gets injured. He wont be starting for them this year.

But the deals wouldn't stop there. Should Harris be acquired by Denver, another source has told HOOPSWORLD that he could be sent to Portland for a package that includes Andre Miller and/or Marcus Camby, who are both being shopped around by the Blazers. Miller's deal includes a team option for next season, which would likely be declined by the Nuggets, who are looking to shed payroll.

Lawson > Miller..
