TheGreatUnwashed 268
His shot is off tonight as he is off to an 0-5 start. I've found him to be a streaky shooter, but I'm thinking once Granger returns he won't force as many shots as his efficiency rating goes up. I'm thinking he scores nearly as much without fewer shots. Pau Gasol's Neckbeard 195
The entire pacers look like absolute crap offensively. Possibly the most boring team in the league to watch. Paul is tossing up bricks
tremixt 2,062
This entire game is hard to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if neither team hit 30 before the half.
mjk356 4,553
That's the way the Pacers play. Really plodding, late 90s kind of basketball. Very hard team to watch. Hibbert and West are two of the slowest guys in the league, so that's also part of the reason they never get out in transition. Also, Lance Stephenson. Talk about a guy who plays like a chicken with its head cut off. Edited January 11, 2013 by mjk356
Pau Gasol's Neckbeard 195
And not to get too off topic but Tyler hansbrough is a black hole offensively. Credit to George though, even when hes slumping he's determined to shoot his way out of it. sometimes it works out like against the heat the other night, but as all PG owners know he'll have the occasional 4-18 game. mjk356 4,553
Granger should help that team a lot offensively. Indiana averaged nearly 98 PPG last season playing a similar style. They're averaging only 91 PPG this season. Granger's an excellent 3 point shooter and can get to the line, so that should help everyone on this offense, especially George, get some easier looks. Because they're downright painful offensively right now.

Yep, 9 rebs, 6 stls, 1 blk so far tonight and he has managed to shoot himself out of the slump and is at 43% FG right now.
The Great 18
Another steal leading to a layup. What a stud! I hope he continues to work hard and work on his game because he has so much potential. Btw, do you guys think Paul George is deserving of an all star spot this year? Pau Gasol's Neckbeard 195
Yeah I love how George plays. He settles for a lot of jumpers when he should probably attack, but when he gets hot he's scorching hot (9 threes in one game this season). But the main thing is his overall activity. He crashes the boards on every single shot on both ends. You don't see that from many perimeter players in this league. Elite defender too. Don't let jr's points fool you tonight, PG has locked him up and his only points came off screens or ridiculous fadeaways. Amazing defense Edited January 11, 2013 by Pau Gasol's Neckbeard
mjk356 4,553
He's really playing well defensively. He was just smothering JR Smith. It would be unfortunate if he doesn't get some consideration for first team All-Defense.
Pau Gasol's Neckbeard 195
Love this guy. I'm really impressed with how he literally flipped a switch after that goose egg game. He's been a bonafide all star ever since. One of my new favorite players after seeing him play for the first time this season.

It would be unfortunate if he doesn't get some consideration for first team All-Defense. He has improved quite a bit defensively this year. He isn't making quite as many silly fouls. He seems more patient on defense.
The Great 18
Ever since the goose egg in early December: 19 games, 20 ppg, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2.5 steals, 1 block, 2 threes

mjk356 4,553
How do you guys see him once Granger comes back? Still top 25? I don't think he'll be affected. His value isn't based on PPG. It's based on 3s, boards, steals, and solid amount of dimes, all of which he should maintain with Granger. In fact, George's efficiency should go up and should get cleaner looks with Granger there. Indiana's offense was dramatically better overall with Granger in the lineup last year than it is this season, so he should have a net positive on the lineup offensively. Should be a positive for George.
earthtobrint 292
He's out today with the flu. Damnit. He would've wrecked the Bobcats. The Pacers play tomorrow, too, so now his status for that's in question as well. Edited January 12, 2013 by earthtobrint
