big 6'7 195 pound SP, hes going to joing Cole and Taillon aand theyll be known as the "Big 3" next Spring. Overall line, 3-0, 2.31 ERA, 62:23 K:BB ratio in 39 IP. He's only been going about 5 IP per start right now (probably due to pitch efficiency and pitch counts)...only in his 2nd year, but hes breaking out in Low A right now. Last 5 games, including yesterday: 24 IP, 8 hits, 6 ER (2.25 ERA), 46 K, 12 BB...best thing is he's doing this all as a 19 year old...get on the glasnow train

Can't really tell much from A-ball stats. His walk rate is gonna be a problem, he's young though so hopefully he can fix that. He's supposed to have a 98 mph fastball so if he can get his control a little better, he's definitely got potential. Aside from that he has a pretty good curve and a change up thats improving.

Aug 22nd start, 5IP 0 Hits 5BB's 13K's

His walk rate is definitely high (4.8/9) but his k rate of 13.5/9 is flat out ridiculous

106 IP's 54 Hits 160 K's. Certainly somebody I am keeping an eye on.

Will add this as well

Again, this is what Matt Moore looked like at the same level. Lots of Ks, lots of walks, nasty stuff, not many hits.

Finally made his 2014 debut.

5.0IP 2 Hits, 0 ERA, 2 BBs, and 6 Ks.

Any reports on his velocity?

Not sure about in this game, but in his last extended spring training start he hit 100MPH seven times.

WHAT?

I'm gonna need a source on that otherwise ducktales.

That's a BIG jump and a BIG reason to buy NOW if true.

So in his last 5 starts dating back to May 28, he has pitched:

28.2 IP, 9 H, 1 ER, 12 BB, 36 K's

Continue to improve that command and we could be looking at something really impressive here.

If he improves his command he is a top 10 pitching prospect.

if glasnow improves his command he's the top pitching prospect sans maybe giolito

his command is a long way off but the stuff is just wrong, the downhill plane he gets on his pitches makes it impossible to really square up

long levers, harder for him to put it all together but if he does its a wrap
