Roy Hibbert for Ty Lawson. WHIR

Recommended Posts

Tough call. Based on his regular season performance, YES. He is had an awful FG% and PPG last season and pretty average rebounds. He was all about the blocks. He did show up for the playoffs (the real ones) but hard to say if he'd keep that performance up this season.

Lawson is legit through the regular season though. He had a VERY weak first half last year, but bounced back strong. Without Iggy, he his number will just go up. I fear for his FG% as he will be forcing the offense a bit more, but everything else looks strong to indicate he will provide better value for Hibbert.

If this trade makes sense to your positional needs, and you have other bigs than can still hold their own in blocks, then DEFINITELY do it.

Definitely go with Lawson. As the above poster mentioned, without Iggy his game should flourish. Iggy is ball dominant being a point forward. Usually hinders the pg's value he plays with (ex. holiday & lawson). Gallo will be out for a good minute too. So off the bat Lawson should provide you with high immediate production
