Popular Post Dakines 28
I can't be the only one who has noticed this right? What I'm referring to is the fact that clearly the RW blurbs are not written by the same person (and understandably so), but shouldn't definitive statements at least be consistent with one another? An example is for Jameer Nelson (I know, he's such a key cog in all of our fantasy teams. READ: sarcasm), but it was the most recent example I could pull: On Nov 13 - 1:24 PM, blurb says about Jameer: "... The 32-year-old is only averaging 7.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.9 treys through eight games, but he's still worth owning in all fantasy leagues as starting point guards don't grow on trees." Then, one day and one game later (Today, Nov 14 - 10:10 AM): "...Given Nelson's minimal contributions to the stat sheet this season, and the fact that he's only averaging 26 minutes a game (crowded backcourt), Nelson isn't worth owning in standard leagues." Since he was already pretty terrible, I disallow the rebuttal that yesterday's game was so bad that it justifies this change. So one day he is worth owning in ALL fantasy leagues, and the next, he is not worth owning in standard leagues. So what changed, did starting point guards start growing on trees overnight? 18
Jake97 33
Just laughed at the latest O'Quinn update, calling him nothing but a shot blocking specialist. They sure were singing a different tune at the begining of the season/preseason.
youngy 13
Rotoworld blurbs have been bad this season. Just give us the news! It's okay if you want to include a little bit of analysis too, but this: Dray Day: Draymond Green flirts w/ trey-deuce trey-deuce though? ANNOYING. ccsae 294
Read the blurbs for injury reports and stats. Take the outlook and advice with a grain of salt. Make your own decisions and compare them with others in forum.
Dreams And Dwightmares 3,229
That's their MO. They only talk in absolutes after the fact. And will talk as if the things they said even 24 hours prior were never said. lol, I kind of like the "Trey-Deuce". Think I'm gonna start using it.

Bugs bunny 1,819
The George Hill thing is way inconsistent. First they say once Hill gets back he might end up playing alongside Sloan cause Sloan has earned more playing time. Then they say once Watson is back Watson will push Sloan to bench. So in other words Hill isn't going to push Sloan to the bench but Watson is ? What???? Yet if Stuckey gets back he's is going to be a monster? Huh? Very confusing and very inconsistent.
lbjames6 2,700
I wish they would put initials at the end of the blurb or a last name or something so that we know who is writing what. That way we would at least be able to differentiate the opinions on a consistent basis.
stockton2malone 682
If you feel you need to take advice from a rotoworld blurb you most likely suck at fantasy baslketball and dont know much about basketball in general Its a great vessel for player news though

Dreams And Dwightmares 3,229
For as much as we knock them (and trust me, I do my fair share) sometimes they have gems like this... James Johnson turned in some impressive defensive stats against the Bulls on Thursday with four steals and four blocks to go with 16 points, five rebounds, one assist and one turnover in 24 minutes. He is a second-degree black belt in martial arts and we'd guess he's probably good at defense.... The rest was what many of us complain about, but I gotta give credit when credit is due on that one liner. Edited November 14, 2014 by Dreams And Dwightmares
youngy 13
LeBron James said he doesn't let his kids play football due to the health risk. James was an all-state wide receiver in high school, but recent concerns about the health risks of playing football have changed his opinion on letting his children play the sport. "Only basketball, baseball and soccer are allowed in my house," James said. While this story has nothing to do with fantasy basketball, James' owners are fresh off a near triple-double and can officially stop worrying about their first round pick. JoshDRaps 119
I could be wrong but I think one or two of the blurbs told us to drop Brandon Jennings about a week and a half ago. If I would have done that I wouldn't have been able to trade Jennings for Jeff Teague today. Thanks Rotoworld.
Dakines 28
... I kind of like the "Trey-Deuce". Think I'm gonna start using it. Reminds me of a certain fantasy site, which I will just say rhymes with JazzBall, with so much of this kind of unnecessary verbose commentary that makes an otherwise (sometimes) useful site, unsurfable. I wish they would put initials at the end of the blurb or a last name or something so that we know who is writing what. That way we would at least be able to differentiate the opinions on a consistent basis. So much Yes. If you feel you need to take advice from a rotoworld blurb you most likely suck at fantasy baslketball and dont know much about basketball in general Your comment presumes one being upset due to 'right vs. wrong' blurbage, which is not what my post is about. Please re-read, especially the title, and let me know if you have any questions. Also, spell check is free.
B.Winslow 441
If you feel you need to take advice from a rotoworld blurb you most likely suck at fantasy baslketball and dont know much about basketball in general Its a great vessel for player news though Get off your high horse. People like to read other people's opinions on just about anything, and while I agree everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt, your comment just oozes way to much arrogance. While I form my own opinions on things from watching tons of hoops, and not everybody has that luxury, I still like to read what the "experts" have to say. Right or wrong their opinions help make decisions if I was already leaning in that direction anyways. I agree that the inconsistency in their Player news blurbs this year is at an all time high. Bruski def didn't write this mornings O'Quinn blurb. And I also agree they should initial the ones they write, It'd be fun to track who has been the most accurate with player advice each year.

DresdenCodex 114
I hate it when I'm thinking about floating a buy-low offer, and then they mention it in their next blurb: "Now might be a good time to buy low", etc. Welp, there goes that idea, lol... thanks rotoworld. Guess I'll have to wait another game or two so that the comment gets buried. Then of course they have a big game, and it's too late.

sprunknwn 5
I've noticed the inconsistency as well. Not that it bothered me much up until now but it is indeed annoying. It's not only that they post opposite opinions about a player in rapid succession, they also give a lot of credit and boost one player when he puts up lets say 22 and 11asts with pretty much nothing else as "beasting" while another had a "nice game" with 27-11-3-3.One player is not worth owning with 10-5-3 and the other is a must own doing the exact same thing or less. smh
Dapro 271
I pretty much ignore their opinion blurb. I mainly want injury updates. Even that they can mess up!@ Edited November 14, 2014 by Dapro
sprunknwn 5
I really don't know why I keep reading the RW blurbs. I guess it's a force of habit. I've been using Twitter as my news source for a few years now and I've seen how crucial it can be getting the news first. Following analysts and team writers from all over the league gives you quite an advantage that sometimes can be measured in hours over people that get their information from fantasy news websites.
