Interesting but today Rodon the Destroyer goes up against Oakland. How do you guys feel? Just going to wheel him out there anyway? Im on the fence, but he looked sharp in his last game.

Sharp is a pine splinter from being on the bench. Also the pain if he gets crushed, but I'm playing him.

Have you looked up the A's team OPS against LHP? It's somewhere in the mid .500s. Wade Miley just pitched 6 2/3 scoreless against them while walking 4 and only striking out 1 batter. Clearly they can't make any good contact against lefties. Start Rodon without a second thought.

Think he's going to murder WHIPs all season long, but tonight is a good matchup on paper. If you won't start him against this lineup, then you might as well drop him.

He's lined up for Monday the 25th. 7 games that week with the Baltimore makeup. Wonder if he'll two start that week. This is gonna be tough with weekly lineups

With the dearth of SP available, it might end up being worth putting him in the lineup the rest of the season and accepting a few missed starts.

worked around an infield singe and k'd coco with 1st and 3rd

hows he look?

Both hits on the inning werent hit hard.

Coco had no chance on that at bat. 3 sliders in a row, two swinging strikes. Next FB way outside at 96. Comes back with another slider to K Crip. Swinging strike.

Typical rookie ups and owns. Dude has really good raw stuff. His slider is filthy, but he has no fastball command. Been effectively wild the first three innings, but got burned in the 4th.
