Reports from Espn and WEEI are the Pats and Moss are finalizing deal and should be completed soon....

The New England Patriots and Randy Moss are finalizing terms on a three year, $27 million deal, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

The two sides are currently in the process of reviewing contract details, the source told ESPN.

On Friday, Moss started to listen to offers from other teams. On Saturday, he explored possibilities with other franchises and even discussed the possibility of reuniting with his former Vikings teammate, Daunte Culpepper, on another team.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen and John Clayton contributed to this report.

Patriots agreed to terms with WR Randy Moss on a three-year, $27 million contract, according to NBCSports.com's Tom Curran.

It's uncertain if Moss' efforts to get other teams involved helped, but he's only making $1.33 million-per-year more than Bernard Berrian. His guaranteed money was increased. Moss and Tom Brady can't expect to set records again in 2008, but they are slight favorites to remain atop their positions in fantasy leagues while playing together. Mar. 3 - 2:02 pm et

Boy oh boy, would he look real pretty in Gang Green.

Eagles willing to match but not exceed Pats offer

Andy Reid was on the telephone this afternoon for over an hour with Randy Moss but he wasn't able to talk him into turning down a 3 year $27 million deal with Patriots. Moss decided to stay put where he is with the Patriots. Reid and the Eagles weren't willing to better the offer from the Pats.

I really thought he was gonna get a deal greater than this.. This is close to what T.O. received a couple years ago(3yrs/25million). So Moss will be 34/35 when this deal is done, he should've held out for a better contract IMO..

He should have joined up with a team that needs him or needs a winner, not the New England Yankees. He is taking less money to win a ring with the Pats cuz he knows its easier. He is looking out for himself and doesn't care about other cities.
