I don't understand why this thread even exists.

Tom Brady = Matt Cassel

Matt Cassel = SUCKS ON EVERY OTHER NFL TEAM

Peyton Manning = How many consecutive playoff seasons with the Colts

One year without Peyton Manning on the Colts = First overall pick and Andrew Luck

The math is very simple.  One team NEEDED their QB to be a perennial playoff contender.  The other team got Matt Cassel a REALLY big disappointing contract. How good is Garropalo on any other NFL team?  Matt Cassel anyone?  How good would Brady be on any other team?

Argue that one away with your bizarro logic.

Julian Edelman: 7th round

Danny Amendola: undrafted

Chris Hogan: undrafted

Malcolm Mitchell: 4th round

James White: 4th round

LeGarette Blount: undrafted

Martellus Bennett: 2nd Round, 1x pro bowl

This is who Brady led a 25 point comeback in the Super Bowl with.

Stats and rings aside, does anyone reasonably think Manning could have done what Brady did against Seattle in the 4th qtr or last night? Brady just has something nobody else has other than Montana. Except he has stats too. Debate is certainly over.

IF you had to pick 1 quarterback to win a game with lets say 10 grand on the line, those of you who would choose manning over brady are simply DELUSIONAL.

Remember the time Peyton Manning came back from a 28-3 deficit in the Super Bowl to win and secure his record fifth championship? Yeah, me neither. You two can kindly slither away now.

Time to give it up, Papes...

Manning's contributions will live forever- he invented the modern passing offense

Brady, however, has taken it to new heights.   Only player to have 5 rings, and will likely own most of the passing records by the time he's done.

Any semblance of an argument against Brady died with that masterful performance last night.

Congrats to you NE fans- it was a wildly entertaining game.

I'll officially say it:

TOM BRADY= GOAT

"Cheater". Lol. I think brady might have been upset those ball were deflated too, he played much better in the second half. Even if it were true, the advantage given from an under inflated ball would be so minor. Stupidest scandal in history? Quite possibly.

The recording, which is ALLOWED by the nfl, only from there designated areas, is so overblown its ridiculous. Signals change weekly, and it was because of the location they filmed from. Was it really any advantage or any different from watching the tape after the game? The NFL wanted patriots to send ALL there tapes for review and bill wanted them in the building, so goodell ordered someone to go and destroy them, thus starting the goodell and patriot feud.

If i made a bunch of ridiculous statements, id be looking to hang my hat on anything at this point. But lets not kid ourselves.

Brady is the GOAT
