How did Manning change the game??  Was not the first QB to call his own plays.

No one who actually follows football with actual knowledge would deny that Maning changed the game in elevating the QB role, forcing defenses to play differently and influenced NFL rule changes to protect the QB. He was literally the catalyst to the way the game is played today.

Geez, just google "peyton Manning changed the game" and you will find tons of articles and text on it. I doubt you will do that or even bother to read anything 😂

Even Brady stated peyton changed the game and he emulated and studied him

Heck, wasn’t it Manning who, along with Brady, led the charge for teams to be allowed to supply their own game-day footballs?

Seems like that might’ve ended up changing the game somewhat....

And you always predictably prove the point. Attack the poster but never the post when you have nothing to contribute to the topic 🤣

A three year old barstool debate on a fantasy football forum in the off season?

Surely this will be a civil exchange of ideas.

Only the great fantasy players are on this forum during the offseason debating and giving their views. Its the dedication or addiction if you will... I have won hundreds of thousands of dollars playing high stakes fantasy. I have bought a houses, super hyper cars and Islands in the atlantic off the coast of Massachusetts with the winnings and will be running for president in 4 years using Fantasy Football winnings that have been invested into Facebook Startup and concept only to turn into millions from it.

If you read it, it’s really become an omnibus thread for all sorts of sports-related barstool debates.  You can learn a lot about the NBA here, for example.

Peyton--great player on usually bad teams.  Two or three times in his career, he had a decent running game and defense.  Superbowl runner up or champion those years.

Brady--good player on great teams.  8x at least he had magnificent defenses masterminded by Belichick behind him, so Brady had to keep the seat warm for the most part in six titles.  Also, there was the cheating.

Put Brady on the Colts and he's a .500 QB, out of the league in 5 years.  Put Peyton Manning on the Patriots and he may have had three consecutive undefeated seasons and won 12 Superbowls.

Duh, Brady to TB has been a disaster just like Shark predicted. Brady has thrown more picks then ever before (sike) and been sacked more than ever (sike) before because Arians wasn’t going to let him get rid of the ball quickly (sike) and fit his system around Brady (sike).

Sarcasm meter on full blast in case you can’t tell.

Manning has a better sense of humor.

Brady is the quintessential company man.

I had no idea.  Absolutely agree.  One of the best Super Bowl intro's I've ever seen and Peyton is hilarious.   I love that he is able to poke fun at himself.  Obviously, when you have millions of dollars, Super Bowl titles, and have been incredibly successful it is a bit easier. To his credit, plenty of people have been in his position and haven't.

It's "chicken parm".

Shocked this is even a thing still. Tom Brady is playing like this at 43! Forty-three!

We're well beyond Brady vs Manning. It's now Brady Vs. Jordan.

It’s not a thing. At all. I think the bump here was out of sarcasm.

Tbh, I understand the "This QB is better than Tom Brady just not more accomplished" argument. I just don't think that applies to Peyton Manning. I do think the best Aaron Rodgers ever was is better than Tom Brady but I don't think he ever wins another SB.

The best Mike Vick was  better than both. ARod isn't in the same sentence of Brady.

Altho I've consumed far less Taco Bell during my few years of sobriety now, I still think you're being a bit harsh to the Bell here.
