Sean86m 2
Anyone think this guys going to the right situation and might be a valuable contributor in a high powered offense. Milwaukee is already penciling him as a starter on the wing.
absknicks 3,002
He's pretty useless. Even if he starts I don't see any way he plays enough minutes to contribute in any fantasy format. They'll split up his minutes between Terry, Brogdon and Vaughn and he'll probably end up in the 22-25 minute range. I guess he could be a 1 3PM per game guy but other than that he won't help you in any category (he shoots a high FT% but won't be at the line enough to make an impact). RedDogNamedClippers 2,303
Scrub city...... and the the only reason I can confidently say that is because when I believe Dunleavy and Butler were hurt last season. I think he only had like two good games out of like 15. Two. Couldn't make the most of his opportunities. Edited October 19, 2016 by RedDogNamedClippers
monkeysennin 328
Double double with 3 threes tonight. Starting SG moving forward. Potential gem or fool's gold?

There's a lot of good pickups right now so I'll be keeping him on the watch list for now. Don't think he's on the radar yet

Look at what Solomon Hill did tonight as well after 3 abysmal games to start the year, as long as the minutes are there, production will follow. My league is 16 teams btw. Now only if RHJ can translate his minutes to production... still not dropping that dude yet haha!

Now only if RHJ can translate his minutes to production... still not dropping that dude yet haha! I do wonder if they saw some potential in Snell. The guy was being compared to Wesley Person at the draft, he was supposed to have a pretty automatic stroke. I see so many draft sites just say he's a terrible player and can't play offense, but if you watch summer league the past few years he was consistently one of the best players/prospects at summer league. He's just never been really given a fair shake at the NBA level, it's hard to expect a guy to break out when he's playing some back up minutes here and there. Nevertheless, he's been terrible in the NBA when you compare his summer league performances. With a starting role in hand and 30 mpg, it should be interesting and he's worth a flier if you have someone bad to cut - just expect a lot more bad lines than even average ones. Milwaukee has won 2 straight now since ramping up his minutes, Giannis / Della can create easy looks for him, and he can just be a 3 + D guy. The thing is with a lot of SFs is that you're either one of the main guys on the team or you're last in the pecking order, there is not much inbetween. SFs are either 3 + D guys who get a few touches/very low usage rate, and just sit in the corner and wait for their opportunities or try to score on cuts and tip ins (think Harkless), or they're Kawhi Leonard / Paul George / LeBron / Gordon Hayward / Rudy Gay, etc. When you go down below the main tier of SFs in the first few rounds, the rest are mostly specialists with low usage rates (think Roberson). The caveat in all this is that his line came against a bottom 3 defensive team. Moreover, his steal / block rates for a guy of his size / athleticism is terrible; .3 and .4 in 20 minutes for his career and he's had a large enough sample size considering the amount of games he played. So essentially when you look at his overall stat lines and per 36 numbers, he barely gets to the line (he has amazing FT% but doesn't even make a dent in your FT on the week), shoots terribly, doesn't rebound well, doesn't steal, doesn't block, doesn't assist. He's pretty much a negative in every single category except TO and to some extent FT where it's pretty much a zero any ways. Not a fan. Trade Monster 743
I don't expect a double double from him again this year, but I'm intrigued. What are his estimated projections going forward ?
MVPsix 61
Should be a worthwhile investment in 14-team leagues
goldbaby11 221
I think he's going to be a must own in a 12-teamer
s-kayos 2,161
Monitoring closely. He's still only 24 so I think it's very possible we see some improvements

Even with the minutes, Tony Snell needs a lot more than 2 good games to prove he belongs on every roster.
manolo_ 159
He and Brogdon are the two guys I'm more interested in in my points league . Brog seems a bit better player , but i'm really thin at SF and all wire SFs are trash ... and he's a lock for 30+ mins i believe , Kidd really likes him for some reason , and he's getting tons of open shots , cause teams double Giannis all game long
jehob 623
I grabbed brogdon because he's more of an unknown and people in my league have seen three years of snell being garbage so I figure he's got more to prove
